Atmosphere: I can’t say that I “love” the vibe here - it’s an interesting decor. I think “efficient” or “functional” use of space is a better description of the place. There are knick knacks here and there, but mostly, it’s an open space with awesomely huge TVs spaced out evenly and all turned to the same channel. Great place to watch the Packers! More of a guy’s place to hang out for a game rather than a girl’s night out. It’s too cold now to sit outside, but outdoor dining area looks cute for days with good weather.
Service was slow. Our server was nice but our food took 30 minutes to come out and she never came to check on us or give us an update on the food in the meanwhile. No refill on drinks.
Food: The Stillery Burger - The best part of this burger is the naked white cheddar cheese curd. AMAZING! It was very lightly battered and fried and absolutely delicious. I had to ask them whether they had this as an appetizer, but unfortunately their cheese curds plate is a more heavily battered, normal fare. They make these especially just for the burners. All burgers will be garnished with an onion ring and this cheese curd. The burger itself? Very tasty. I asked for extra lettuce as I always do (on keto), and gave half of it with the buns to hubby and ate the other half wrapped in lettuce. Very fresh lettuce and tomato/onions, and perfectly medium cooked and just right seasoned patty. Generous bacon portions. Nothing to complain about!
12 Wings This was more of a disappointment. They looked baked rather than fried, and overcooked on top of that with burnt ends here and there. We asked for sauce on the side (we always do this the first time we get wings at a new place to get the true taste). The stiller sauce was delish, and the mango habanero was good. The wings themselves were ok, as it really wasn’t seasoned. Yes, with the sauce, maybe it doesn’t matter… but of course it does. The basic wings needs basic seasoning so the meat inside is tasty too.
Overall, I’d be happy to be back for burger and IPA to watch the...
Read moreWorst experience ever waited 1 and half hours. Got seated in a game room. Service was terrible. Drinks and food were even worst. I posted this review while eating at the restaurant. The hostess, who saw this review came over and began to belittle me because I had a bad experience. When we first arrived at the restaurant the hostess did not tell us that it would be over an hour Long wait. It's a Friday night, expected to wait around a half an hour 45 minutes. Then they sat us in this back room game room, didn't want to spend another hour and a half waiting to get a table. My sandwich was cold when I got it, food was mediocre at best. Could have gotten better food at Burger King than this restaurant. She told me that she thought me posting my bad review was a joke, began to lecture me on the fact that she works 90 hours a week and takes her job very serious, not serious enough to provide good customer service. She did comp our meal, but I Would have rather have paid for my horrible meal and dealt with my terrible experience of well over 2 hours at this restaurant then be lectured like a little kid. I will never come back to this restaurant, overrated food! If you go to this restaurant, make sure you hit up the bar and get plenty drunk, otherwise you will have a terrible experience.
P.S. never said I was having a bad day. while being lectured, I told her I'm done. The wait time was 1 hour and 13 minutes not 59 minutes. I Have texts to prove that.
Update: so after having a bad experience at this restaurant about a month ago, I posted my review. To which the owner replied that they comped my meal after having bad food and bad service. Well surprise surprise. Got my credit card statement this month and the meal that I was told that was going to be comped not only by the hostess and the owner was never comped. So much for "going above and beyond for your customers" and your local community. I've never had such a terrible experience at any restaurant, so...
Read moreAs a server, bartender and restaurant GM, I know exactly how important Google reviews are to our establishments to see where things are going right, but to also see where improvement needs to happen. In this case, I simply could not ignore taking time to write a review for the INCREDIBLE service that not only my entire party received, but the world class accommodation and quality I received personally as a patron at The Stillery in Grafton. I have been a long time Richfield fan - so this was my first go at their newest Grafton location tonite (5/4/24) for my sister’s surprise 30th birthday party this evening. Earlier today, I had reached out on Facebook with a shot in the dark request for a special nutrition accommodation for myself. 9 days ago, I underwent bariatric surgery. And not wanting to miss my sister’s special day, I reached out to see if the kitchen could be able to create me something pureed and delicious so that I could enjoy my evening with my family. As a restaurant worker, I know how sometimes eye rolling food requests can be. But the staff at The Stillery did not bat an eye. They were eager to be of help and BOY, did they deliver! It may not look like much in the photo and I could only eat a fraction of it. But HOLY COW - was it delicious! I hope i can get the recipe from them at another time to create again at home. It was a Pureed Cauliflower and Cottage Cheese bake and it was AMAZING. I cannot thank the incredible kitchen and management staff enough for going above and beyond for me tonite. In addition, as a server, I specifically wanted to give some flowers to and shout out Braun who was our lead server for our event. He was courteous, outgoing, efficient and on top of his game. He’s a rare gem in this industry. Thank you again for a wonderful evening and trust that I WILL be returning. And if you are reading this, you should give ‘em a...
