My family and I have been eating here since 2017. The young man who worked in the front was nice, took our orders and everything was great. Just recently this year we have been going but I had to ask the lady if it was bought by a new owner? Because I didn’t see the young man anymore and the food taste different. She said no. So the last two time I came here about 2 weeks ago and yesterday the lady has been so rude.
2 weeks ago I tried ordering a plate with the house rice (knowing it would be extra cost for any substitute) well she tried having me order what she wanted and said I couldn’t order what I was ordering. I told my husband, he can order and I’ll order else where. He asked her why I can’t order what I’ll be eating because we will be paying for it. So she said “okay fine order what you want”.
Then yesterday 5/6/23. I go in to order 2 plates. She comes out and circles with her finger what she wants me to order from. I told her what I wanted. She got upset And she was really rude. When she charged me she slapped the receipt on the counter, I said thank you and she stood quiet. Then when I went to pick up my order she quickly took my order, ripped the receipt off the order bag and gave me my order rudely and said your all set. I get home and the food I ordered was awful. We drive 45 minutes to this restaurant. So, I didn’t go back.
I just would like to know what is the issue with ordering something I want and paying for? I didn’t disrespect anyone and I’ve been a faithful customer for 6 years.
But yesterday was the cause of me not...
Read moreWent here for the first time last night. Was looking for a good chinese food place in the area. We ordered the Small Kung Pao chicken, a side of white rice, Large crab rangoon, Fried rice, Fried shrimp, chicken wings, beef teriyaki, and one egg roll. For $33. The food was REALLY good besides the crab rangoons, my family and I found them to be onion-y. The egg rolls they have here are cabbagey but we like them like that & have no complaints. The peanut to chicken ratio in the kung pao chicken was perfect, it wasn’t spicy but the flavors were really good though so it was totally worth it. This is definitely somewhere that we’ll be...
Read moreI have visited King Jade a few times in the past month or so, and when I'm in the area. It's located in an unimpressive strip mall, that could benefit from some updating. Aside from that, the menu is extensive. We've ordered selections from the Lunch and Dinner Combo Menu. The portions are plentiful and priced well, considering the prices of just about everything these days. I've ordered the Chicken with Garlic Sauce Combo, and the Human Chicken. The Fried Rice is always good, and portions have been generous and delicious. Have also ordered the Steamed Dumplings, which are delicious, too. This restaurant is...
