Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Grain Valley

We have had pretty good experiences with it in the past but had family over last night and thought we would order pizza after having a big lunch. I went on their website and found a special that offered 3 large pizzas for a certain price. I called and told the girl we wanted that special she said ok and at no time did she say it was an online special. When my husband went to get them he came back and told me the price which was quite a bit more. We called and were told that it was an online special. I looked again at their website and didn't see any notice that it was only an online special. I called again and the girl was very nice but she kept saying it was an online special. I told her it doesn't say that on the website and at no time was I told that when I called in. She was very gracious but held firm. She didn't tell me where on the website that it states that it was only online nor did she explain why I was not told on the phone that it was only an online special. She kept saying she was sorry. I feel like they should have been able to point me right to where to look on their website with that wording. I would have been satisfied if they could have done that and would have apologized to them for my oversight. Will I order pizza from them...

Very bad customer service at this Grain Valley Missouri location! I went there yesterday and asked the manager to make a pizza the way I wanted it made, and I'll admit it was a little out of the ordinary for them, but all I wanted them to do was put some cinnamon on my pizza crust, and they DO have cinnamon, they use cinnamon for their dessert pizza, but the manager refused to accommodate. You would think, as long as they have the ingredients on hand, they would put anything on the pizza that the customer wants. I definitely will not ever be spending my money at the Grain Valley Missouri Papa Murphy's...

If 2.5 stars was an option I would 100% pick it. I ordered two pizzas and one was completely fulfilled to perfection, but the other was not. I came home to discover there were no toppings other than cheese when I had ordered two additional toppings. This was my first time ordering with this establishment. Due to reputation, I feel as if this is not an accurate reflection of this company and does not happen often. Regardless of the lack of human contact in store at the online pickup station, I plan to take extra moments next time to check and interact if there...
