I recently visited the Grand Elk Grille at the Grand Elk Golf Club, and overall, it was a decent experience. I appreciated that the place was open to the public, contrary to my initial concern about it being exclusive to club members. The live music added a nice touch to the ambiance, and there was a decent selection of alcoholic beverages available. However, I found the food options to be somewhat limited. Despite the lack of a large crowd, there was enough activity and socialization, especially considering it was 5:00 on a Friday after a major snowstorm. For our appetizer, we tried the Warm Crab Dip, which my wife enjoyed, but I found it a bit too heavy on the crab and lacking in cheese. Our main course, the Wagyu Burger and fries, was satisfying, although at $20 per item, it leaned towards the pricey side. On the bright side, the service was excellent, which definitely added to the overall positive experience. Overall, while there were some hits and misses with the food, the atmosphere and service made it a pleasant outing.

2 stars only for the lovely waitress and the decent food. Upon our families arrival we were greeted by a gentleman (possibly a manager) who attempted to run us off. His first statement was "here for lunch?" when we replied yes, he told us they were expecting over 100 hungry golf tournament individuals in the restaurant in minutes and it would be loud. He had no desire to seat our family or let us dine. It was a very negative non welcoming statement. We were visiting the area. This felt exactly like a snooty exclusive golf club restaurant, not an "open to the public", golf club restaurant like they advertise. Also the soda was terrible and the water tasted like chemicals. Do not recommend.

Never had a bad meal here. The cabin lodge feel is just right, warm fire, beautiful outside views in summer and winter. Great menu, wine selection is good. Some of the meals, like the strawberry habanero chicken, are ‘stupid good’! When you have them you’ll know what that means! That’s probably the best and most accurate description I’ve ever been given to describe if a dish is good or not. And it was true. I’d say Do not miss an opportunity to eat here. Make rez’tions tho, it gets busy!

My wife and I came here kinda late on a Thursday night a couple of days ago, had a really good bacon cheeseburger and had a really good experience. Floyd and Eli took care of us. They shared that they had a Sunday brunch. So my wife and I came down to check it out. Got my breakfast burrito in front of me. I'll let you know how it was.

Just finished. Breakfast Burrito was really good. Seriously good fluffy eggs, seriously good tasting green chili (gringo level heat), enough cheddar cheese that you can taste it through all the other flavors, quality bacon chunks. Ally was great. Very attentive, mountain relaxed and fun attitude. We're from Denver area. I totally suggest if you're hanging out anywhere between Winter Park and Grand Lake you should check...

We went for dinner and arrived just as a huge ski team party of 24 arrived. After a little confusion with seating we were attended by a lovely waitress, Leah. She made our experience excellent. She made sure we got our orders and they weren’t delayed by the group. The other staff who stopped by were so friendly as well. The food however, was not good. Steak (ordered medium rare) was burned on the outside and rare on the inside. Whipped potatoes were delicious. Broccolini was not edible. I tried eggplant Parmesan. It was ok, but missing the crispy breading texture. Dessert was the best, a peanut butter pie! The quality of the food may have been affected by the crowd there that evening. But overall would look for another place to...
