My husband and I stopped in at 745 on 10/29. I ordered a Fatoosh Salad with Feta. The guy taking my order disappeared. He didn't ask if I had anything else to order which would be my husband's dearborn shwarma sandwich. Someone else took that order and he said it will be down here with your salad. I didn't realize the guy that disappeared was making my salad. I didn't get the opportunity to select my toppings. So I asked if he had added shredded cheese because I had that happen before and I didn't want cheddar cheese on it. He asked if I wanted it on the side. I said no, I didn't want any so it's all ok. Then he said he put cheese on it and made a new salad but without feta. He was confusing the cheddar question with the feta. I wanted feta. In fact I was going to ask for extra. He was rushing around with no eye contact and going too fast to listen to me. Then a young lady wanted to check us out but the shwarma was still in the toaster. She had to grab it fast before it burned because the other guy forgot it was in there. So finally went to check out and she asked if my order was the bowl and the sandwhich. I said no...I had the Fatoosh salad and the sandwhich. She said ok. So She rang me up and we left with our food. When I got home, I had no salad dressing and I looked at my receipt. She still rang me up for the bowl which is abour $5.00 more than the salad. I tried calling but was re-routed to a hang up twice so I went back to the store. Neither the young man who prepared my salad nor the girl that rang us up were there. Another young man by the name of Jeff helped me. He gave me salad dressing and went back through his register to find my transaction and adjusted it to charge me for the salad and not the bowl. (Waiting to see if the correction when through on my card.) He was pleasant and didn't seem to act bothered by me or rushed. Read moreLet’s first start with the staff. The girl working the register did not help facilitate who was carry out and who was walk in. Did not help her staff with anything. She honestly stood behind the counter with her head down. Absolutely useless. Then my wife goes to the counter to ask where our order is since we placed it online and the lady behind the counter said it would be a while. Every single person that walked in after us had their food before we even got our online order. Come to find out all 8 of the line workers that were making the food were only making the sandwiches for the people that just walked in not the online orders. An hour later we had our food. All the online customers waiting with us we’re just as frustrated as us as none of their food was cooked.Someone needs to sit down with that staff and go over the basics. The purpose of ordering online is to pre order and pick up your food at the estimated ready time, not to wait an additional hour for your food to be made and have all the walk-in customers food made before the people that ordered online.So disappointed as we were excited to have a Pita Way come to us in Grand Blanc. There’s no reason why I should’ve had to wait 20 extra minutes in the store today (past the “due” time”) when I placed an order online 40 minutes prior. Multiple people, including other pickup orders came in after me and there food was made and ready before mine, right in front of my eyes. It was not busy at all and there were multiple workers behind the counter. There was no sense of urgency from the workers that there were waiting customers (me, the only waiting customer actually), they were just standing around gossiping about customers in front of them. But they made sure they serviced certain individuals promptly when they came in.
On top of that I ordered fries and sauce, the worker said the sauce was there but I opened the box of large fries when I got home and no sauce. The pita was dry, and the shawarmas I ordered were super thin and somehow different weights, even though they were practically the same thing.
Do yourself a favor and pay at the store if you actually think the food is worth the terrible service, I paid and tipped online before I knew the service and they definitely did not deserve it. First and last time...
