expensive but good Food was Good all except my mother in laws sirloin steak. It was so tough she couldn't eat it " they're supposed to be famous for steaks"
however the restaurant is NOT handicap friendly
the tables and seats did not allow me with my walker to go anywhere except the bathroom and the first tables up front
We had to be moved from where they had us with our reservation because i literally couldn't get thru to the back of the corner. Al's the service is horrible our server was non existent. She was rude and we think she was mad because we had to sit in her section due to the inability to get thru the restaurant with my walker
I had to stop her to ask for everything I had to try 2 times to get ketchup for the table as we all had fries, me and my wife were out of water for half our meal again had to stop her and ask for water.
She finally asked if we needed to go boxes but did not give us bowls for the soup, cottage cheese, salads and no lids for the tarter sauce or other small condiments. I had to ask of course My wife asked for a drink menu to which she replied no they don't have one and then didn't ask her if she wanted a drink after saying no menu she just walked away
This was my wife's birthday. The only reason we went here was for the frog legs
Also there's only 1 handicapped parking spot And in the middle of the parking lot there's a telephone pole in the lot right at the end of a parking spot blocking half the front of the lot It's been hit a few times it had yellow tape on it
After this experience we won't be back Maybe takeout for the frog legs and seafood platter but...
Read moreMy whole family (5 of us) came in to celebrate my birthday. We had made reservations, but my husband uses a walker and the tables here are so close together that he couldn't make it to where they intended to seat us. The table they sat us at was with a different server who was already pretty busy and I think she was upset we were sat with her. She checked on us once, we had to stop her several times to ask for things like water refills and ketchup. She never smiled. I asked her if they had a drink menu and she just responded no and walked away. When she took our check she snatched my mom's card off the table. The attitude of our server was actually the worst and she was inattentive at best. I ordered frog legs, my husband ordered fish and chips, my son got a burger and my daughter got the seafood platter. Our dinners were all delicious and cooked perfectly. My mom ordered a steak that was so tough she was literally sawing on it with her steak knife. For a $100+ bill at a restaurant known for their steak and burgers I was not impressed at all and will probably...
Read moreWalt Olin (previous owner, now deceased) would be flipping in his grave. Have been going to the Cross bow for 30 years. Always wonderful food, good staff etc. So, now with the way of the world, and to those that have a degree of understanding of what a mask can do, as well as social distancing, the new owner of Cross Bow doesn't believe in such. Amazingly enough it is posted on the Entrance "PATRONS MUST WEAR A MASK", so with that the Wife and I ventured in for lunch yesterday. Took nearly 3 minutes to exit, after realizing, the wait staff was wearing their mask around their neck. The restaurant being relatively small, but yet they were still seating customers next to each other within feet. After exiting my wife called , and the Manager stated that even though the owner has posted wearing a mask, he deems it the prerogative of his staff, and patrons if they so desire to maintain wearing one. Walt would be a shamed of your business practice, of what he...
