absolutely nothing to like about getting overcharged $10 on a meal that cost under $20let's start from the top I order a 14 inch round pizza 3 topping that is around $13 somehow got charged $16 I asked very specifically if they charge for cheese or is it considered one of the toppings they said no it is not chargeable and that it is considered one of the toppings part number 2 i order garlic knots and I get mozzarella bread now garlic knots only cost $2.50 the bread they charged me for cost $5 now the delivery girl is lost driving around the parking lot as I sit outside for 15 minutes waiting I finally get my pizza warm at best in overcharged significantly overcharged more than one third of the total price I call and let the owner know what does she do try and justify the overcharging of my bill where I come from its called larceny by conversionwhich is exactly what happened while speaking to the owner she claims they don't even have garlic knots although their menu specifically Grand Blanc location certaintly has garlic knots on it which are $1.50 not the $5 they charged me for the cheese bread I didn't even order I got nothing but grief from these people I was being politeI feel that I have no choice but you call and file a police report it may not be a lot of money but it's the principle the owner says every conversation is recorded and when I said if you would please go back over the conversation you would see exactly what I said and then I was not wrong at all but she wanted to refute everything by saying sorry it was a mistake actually having the nerve to say that some of the stuff wasn't even on the menu when indeed it is whether or not they have the stuff is not my fault where I come from that's called false advertising so between the larceny by conversion and false advertising I am to absolutely no avail I'm waiting still for a phone call back from her husband in the meantime I will just be filing a police report as ridiculous as it sounds but for the love of God no one in Grand Blanc deserves to be robbed by Guido's pizza not like I was beware check...
Read moreUpdated 2025: So we have not ordered from Guido's since 2018. We decided to try again yesterday. I am going to stay with 4 stars. Flavor is good, generous toppings. We got a Large round with 3 toppings. I know the crust preference is a very personalized thing. Some people like a dry, crispy crust and others like their crust wet. This is definitely a wet crust. We had to use a knife and fork to eat, you cannot pick it up with your hands. The flavor of the crust was good and it was cooked to a nice brown on the bottom and crust is thin. This is a cheesier pizza than the other competitors in town. Since I like more cheese, that was a plus. I do prefer a less wet crust though but that is my preference.
It appears to have changed owners. Service was great.
We order pizza from Guido's at least twice a month and always the same pizza...Medium Grand deep dish square. Depending on who is making the pizza on the day we order, we either get a FANTASTIC pizza...thick, crispy, generous toppings and not greasy at all or its a yucky, soggy, dripping in grease, thin pizza with skimpy toppings...even though we ordered a deep dish square. Whenever it is bad, its always the same person who was working that day. For the price, it would be nice if Guido's can aim to be more consistent or maybe the next time I get a sub par pizza, I can call back and get this person's name so I can avoid ordering on those days that this person is working. Had another really disappointing pizza today which prompted me to write a review. Please don't get me wrong...Guido's does make a fantastic pizza...the best in town...but it depends on whomever is working that day.
11/30/18: I bumped it up by one star because the owner called me to discuss what happened and it is evident to me that the owners care very much about their product and want to fix any issues and improve the consistency of their pizza. So that deserves one extra star for caring and reaching out to...
Read moreThis was hands down the best place to work at. I really feel some people cannot begin to understand how bad the understaffing issue is and the toll it takes on everyone's mental health. If you need an excellent recommendation for the best pizza and the best place to work at, I would always say Guidos Pizza in Grand Blanc. The owners are very fair about the benefits they offer here for full time workers. I needed to move on and try something new after working here for almost 3 years. This place was awesome to work at. They need people to come back to work like every other small business, so please do your part and everyone come back to work. Jaqueline and Doug really care about their business and will teach you things to help benefit you to try things out of your comfort zone. Working here was so much fun and was the best experience I have ever had. Thank you Doug and Jaqueline for the support you gave me and boosting my confidence to always be better as a worker and as a true friend. We need people to start working again if we truly want to help local businesses come try it out here I loved...
