Good pizza, horrible service from the driver. Called them back to ask can they add paper plates to the order. They said no problem. Delivered my food and asked me did I want to leave a tip. I left 8 on a 54 dollar tab which is about 15 percent. I asked where are the paper plates. He said I guess they're not in there. I asked could you get them. He said "then I would have to drive all the way back." I asked him, "and you really don't want to do that huh?" His response: "No. Sorry." I told him "you're really not but you still took my tip right?" He gave me a deer in headlights look so I just closed the door. He had a choice to make it right and he didn't. I am tired of places not getting it right and not doing anything about it. 3 options, go get plates, ask what can we do to make it right, or apologize with SINCERITY. I know a few paper plates is not a big deal and only the cost of a dollar, but when you say I don't want to go back and do the right thing for a customer after you take their money for a tip, service is not your priority and makes you lose loyal customers. This is the service industry. Have drivers carry a backup kit with plates napkins and utensils in their vehicle with things customers ask for so they will never get caught in this situation. Have them each take one for the shift and fill it up when they are done for the day. It'll cost you less money to stock them then to lose customers because of poor service from a driver who is clearly going through the motions and doesn't care. Also, check the order twice before you leave. That's a simple solution too. If you don't want to do the bare minimum of your job, don't expect to get gratuity for it. Good service doesn't end once the bill is paid and you got something for yourself. God forbid if he forgets a...
Read moreThe shop said the delivery time was 215am but they didn't know when the pizza would actually show up and if it would be at least like warm. It's sad that this is the best option you can get in grand forks. The pizza places open after m8dnight are a joke and im sure they will respond with some bullshit instead of offering a discount or update like most reputable pizza places. Sadly it's just a part of being in grand forks. Beggers can't be choosers and if marxos pizza and rhumbas guys is closed there's no point in begging cause regardless you will get the bare minimum. Then they told me they can't get ahold of the dilevery driver bit yet they can let him know I want to cancel my order this place is a joke and obviously doesn't care about customer service like most pizza places in grand forks ND. If you want good food and service order marcos pizza before 930pm it's my own fault for...
Read moreI've ordered pizza from nearly every pizza place in town and this has become my go-to take-out/delivery place (eat-in would be Up North in EGF). I've found, as I've grown into a mature but youthful (and still handsome) adult male man, that most pizza is entirely too salty. I used to be able to eat most of a pie myself, but as I've aged like a fine wagyu steak, I can get through about 2 slices from most pizza joints before I'm overcome by the urge to quaff a gallon of water (tap, bottled, glacier, doesn't matter). When I discovered Popolino's, it was a revelation. The flavor is well balanced on all their pizzas, the crust is always baked to supple, soft, bready perfection, and best of all, I didn't feel like drinking from a fire hose when I was done. If you've seen your share of years, you know what i mean and you'll appreciate these fine slices of heaven....
