Starbucks — Restaurant in Grand Forks

My wife was in the ALTRU hospital recovering from surgery. She asked me to go down to the Starbucks in the lobby and get her The coffee she likes. Well it was Saturday and it was closed. So I went to the one a block away. First of all the drive thru was backed up to the street so if you wanted to go inside the place to order (Which I did) you couldn’t get to a place to park. So I went around the building on the side that the drive up window is on. I drove in the out lane next to the drive up window and found a place to park. So then I go inside the enter door. I walked straight up to the counter (mind you all, I’ve never been in this place in my life) and the guy behind the counter asked if I was there to pick up a call in order and I said no. He processed to tell me that I was suppose to go around and up the other isle and down to the other end of the counter if I wanted to make an in store purchase. There was NO ONE ELSE in the place at that time but the employees behind the counter. It shouldn’t matter which isle I used especially when there was no one else in the store. It’s getting harder and harder to get GOOD COURTEOUS SERVICE. Everyone will blame it on Covid 19. It’s the new scape goat for everything. When in all actuality the real reason is that they aren’t hurting for customers so who cares if they piss a few off...

You all are amazing and should get a tip all day everyday. I have seen you the mist of a rush giving your all and when it’s a down flow of customers I have been there to and see you still giving it your all being kind and nice to everyone and getting orders completed in the drive thru and in lobby was there yesterday and you where so nice to me and the girls as always. Everytime and anytime I show up with my 3 younger daughters or my 2 adult daughters from the time you have open each memory we have made their has been amazing thank you for all you do! And thank you for your kindness by the way the girls love the new orange cake pops and drinks were amazing as always. Thank you to everyone that works there you all Or amazing and great. I hope you all get a raise after this post it’s well deserve because you all go above and beyond. This place is spacious and clean, but the music is TOO LOUD. The spirited crew makes sure that you HEAR their music. If you want a place where you can write/work (with the music in the background) this is NOT a place for it. The music takes over the whole shop. When I was there, there were only four people sitting in the shop, so certainly no noise needed to be covered up. I love Strubucks and will put up with a lot for a good cup of coffee and an opportunity to work outside of the library, but this was WAY TOO MUCH, so I left without having written a word and after my third sip of coffee; i tried my aripods but could still hear the music from the shop's speaker (don't think I did not give it a try!).
