Subway — Restaurant in Grand Forks

Subway gets more and more of waste of time and money. After spending over $17 for a now smaller footlong sandwich meal. I asked, very politely, if they give a veteran discount (the one in my home state does so I thought I would just check). I got a very disgusted no in return. Then I tried to hand her my credit card and she snapped "we don't handle those here", then inserted the card reader (which was on a pole of some sort) and said "it's going to ask you a question". I responded that I couldn't see the screen as it was pointing to the sky. Then I moved it so I could read it and it was asking me for a tip, in the the drive through. I paid for my meal and after about 5 minutes got my food and drink. Not wanting to waste too much time by blocking the lane for the person behind me I just asked her if the straw was in the bag. She then quickly went to the side and rapidly stuck out a straw for me to grab, stating she didn't know if there was one. I took it, left, used the straw (paper, I thought just California was doing that stuff), and checked the bag to see if there was a straw...there was not. This is the second Subway location I tried in Grand Forks, the other one had a hole punched in the seal for my drink. Kinda wondering if they have...

Older lady with gray hair gave me a really hard time while picking up a door dash. She said I had to confirm the order before picking up which is no problem, when I showed her the door dash name on my phone and that I had confirmed it, she stopped me and made the comment that I hadn’t done that. I said I had just showed her it and she told me don’t pick up from this store anymore like that’s even a choice. I told her she was being extra and she continued to be rude. Maybe she shouldn’t work at that store if she hates her job so much and is skeptical of everyone that comes in...

Took me 15 minutes to get a sandwich. Plus my bread was too burnt that I couldn't even eat the sandwich. It was dinner rush so there was a line and you could tell that the workers were flustered and the older worker was trying to make bread at that time so instead of saying I'm sorry for the wait it will be a few minutes she was yelling out the "the bread needs to get in now" and when I asked for a certain bread she rudely said that's what I just put in while rolling her eyes at me.. Most disrespectful workers I've ever encountered...
