Glass Bar — Restaurant in Grand Island

We walked down to this bar from my friend's house for a quick shot. The girl at the door wouldn't let us in to take a shot and leave without paying a cover fee. This is a tiny dive bar in a creepy area. We walked in in sweats. It was obvious we weren't staying and it wouldn't have been that difficult to just watch us take the shot and make sure we either left after or paid the cover charge. Unfortunately they decided they wanted to throw away $15-$20 in drinks over $6. We weren't paying that much for one drink. We decided to go to another place. It was well worth leaving. They were playing some weird techno music anyway. Lol I just thought the whole thing was weird and off-putting. I know I've had fun here in the past though. Years ago. This is the place I like to go to the most to hang out in town. If you want to go to a dive bar with a great atmosphere in the stiff pour, look no further. The only food available that at this place that I know of are pickled eggs and chips, but that's not what you're here for anyway.
