Very disappointedā¦. This is literally one of our favorite places to go as a family and for business meetings; it saddens me to be even writing this and will never be going back. We went a couple days ago as a family, and as we are eatingā¦. A cockroach is climbing from the direction of my daughters plate⦠I freaked out cause I hate bugs lol, and we call over one of the servers over who has no customer service skills and she snatches it from our table and throws it on the ground and stomps on it and walks away without a word or even an apologyā¦.. okay?? . Then we lost our appetites and decided to leave. My fiancĆ© went to go pay, and we werenāt asking for the whole bill to be covered just our daughters cause we werenāt sure if it came from the rice she had or if it even touched her food. Well the lady up front was like⦠well we just made the rice andā¦. It wasnāt from that⦠and insinuated as if we brought it in? Or atleast made us feel like that and was even arguing that it wasnāt even their problem. Didnāt even offer anything to accommodate the experience for us as we clearly didnāt finish our dinner or make it half way through it. No apologies. Literally nothingā¦. So disappointed and will not be returning and they lost a very loyal customer. The sad part is as Being apart of the restaurant industry; this has happened in my career and Iāve taken care of the whole bill regardless of price; no arguments, no problem, and honestly my pleasure cause itās gross and embarrassing and I understand things happen but as being in the industry of customer service and guest satisfaction Iām always looking to improve all dining experiences in hoping theyāll keep returning. And to be treated as if our money spent or experience was not important to them and to be dismissed like it was no big deal⦠disappointed is an...

Not the most fancy-looking Hispanic restaurant I've been to, but the food was phenomenal!
As other reviewers mentioned, the menu is 99% Spanish, but if you need an explanation just ask your server.
I'm in Grand Island for a convention of sorts, and my trip has been rather underwhelming so far... But the Paella made it so much better.
A deliciousā blend of spices in a mild sauce with rice, mixed with scallops, mussels, shrimp, whole prawns, and octopus (don't let the octopus scare you away - it was perfectly-cooked, tender, and meaty; my dining partner had never tried octopus before and he thought it was the best part when I let him try a few bites). All of this topped with crab legs. AMAZING.
If you decide to order it, keep in mind that it's almost a $30 plate. BUT! It's big enough to share and still be full. Luckily, my hotel room has a mini-fridge and a microwave. I'll find out tomorrow if it heats up well...
I wasn't terribly fond of the ceviche appetizer or the chips & salsa, but......
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter traveling to 36+ countries in the past 2 decades, Nebraska was the last land locked state on earth that I would try sea food. The first time I came, I tried a safe spicy shrimp(I hate shrimp-love flavour/spice) .... it was amazing. the second time I came I pointed to the menu and tried to communicate what I had... and the staff understood that I wanted what ever they wanted to serve me. An amazing full fish tilapia was served to me. I was in Belize or on the coast of Spain again, great experience. The meal started out with a tostada akin to a giant, thick chip topped with an amalgam of diced vegetables and I believe fish. It had a unique, pleasing taste and presentation. Many menu items contain photos to help you know what you are ordering, as the menu is predominantly in Spanish. Besides the Oriental Market/Thai-Lao Restaurant and Noodle House In Grand Island Mariscos ranks in the the top 3 of the bet flavours...
