La JAULA Restaurant — Restaurant in Grand Island

We visited this establishment for the first time today and we plan to return. The cashier was incredibly sweet! Food was a little different but not in a bad way. The meat was incredibly good. We also snagged a dubai chocolate bar and it was amazing. The only real con is that the restaurant was a little warm which made me feel more bad for the staff than anything-it IS horribly warm out currently. We went there having better expectations. They have a menu which is not easy to read. Then, dishes are around $ 12 to $ 14. However, portions are small. Enchiladas are super small not enough filling. The rice and beans have nice flavor, though. Another positive thing is that the sauces in salad bar are tasty. I could say that the horchata was not rich enough, maybe too much ice.
