Subway — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

After not coming here for a year from multiple bad experiences, I have been talking up this location after my last 2 sandwiches were made so great. Today I placed an online order for BOGO Footlong for a dollar. I went to pick them up and was told they are not taking online orders due to their internet being down. I explained that my card was charged. They said I would get a refund. I said well can I pay for 2 more and just get the sandwiches I ordered and get the refund later? Sure. I tell them I want the same thing I ordered online, the BOGO footlong for $1. She said "thats only for online orders". ARE YOU KIDDING ME LOL

I think at that point, they should have just made my order exactly as I ordered it rather than inconveniencing me for a second time, but what do I know. I have only worked in customer service for...

I stopped by this Subway ordered my sandwich and asked if I could get a cup of water. I was surprised and honestly disappointed when I was told they don't offer water cups. I understand every store has its policy, but where I come from, offering someone water is a basic gesture of kindness. It felt very cold to be denied something so small and human. Even if there was a small charge, I would've understood. But saying a flat "no" just left a bitter impression. This isn't about the water-it's about the way I got treated. I hope this location reconsiders how it approaches simple requests like this. Kindness costs nothing. (Her name tag was BLANCA) very rude. Hope she ask for water someday and get denied and suffer...

I stopped in this morning to grab a sandwich for lunch. I waited for 8 minutes then asked the cashier running the gas station If I could get some help. She huffed and walked over to the Subway area. She said, what do you want with a stone face. If I had more time to grab food elsewhere I would of walked out the door. I ordered a veggie sandwich and the part of the spinach was wilted. I had to pick the brown bits of lettuce off and the tomatoes looked freezer burned. Needless to say I ended up eating mostly dry bread and cheese. I have grabbed food from there before and had a decent experience. Oh well, I will be avoiding this Subway...
