We were suggested to try here. We were excited, until food came. For drinks..Jodi had a Dreamcicle that tasted nothing orange but heavy on Amaretto. I had couple of beers..the Cucumber & Lime was refreshing. For appetizers we had fried pickles that were delicious..actual long spears. We also had wings, honey bbq and hell fire. They were very good as well. For entrees, Jodi ordered the cheese curd burger, ..she says it was gross. The cheese curds were blocks of cheese that were just globs, and oil. No flavor...the burgers tasted fresh but no seasoning. She ordered tator tots as her side..she didnt like them..they tasted more like hashbrowns..and you only get 4 of them with no flavor! I ordered the Defibrillator..its a MONSTER! Messy with lots of stuff on it, but yet no flavor..SEASON THE BURGER MEAT. Same..the cheese were just globs of no flavor. I had jalapeno fries..they were eh. Just diced jalapenos on the fries. I would believe a jalepeno powder would be just right. The flakes would stick to the grease on the fries than just falling off the fries. For dessert we had the smores pizza, it was also eh. The marshmallows were nice and gooey. But needed more gooey chocolate. It was dry and hard to choke down. The staff were great and friendly! If you asked what was our highlight coming here.. it would be our waitress Miranda! She was so kind, knew her stuff, and was very helpful!...

Update: I was invited, with a group of friends. This restaurant has come around. After reading my last review, it appeared I was mostly unhappy with the cost. To be clear, the prices are what you’d expect. It was the cost vs quality that threw me. Now everything seems to be going well. However. What is with your stuffed burgers? Come on. Find out how other restaurants prevent the meat from soaking up the cheese and nail it already. Your stuffed burgers a such a failure. I hope this isn’t the standard at all locations. For those of us seated in the realm of reality: Thank goodness your servers act natural. I wish this restaurant luck, in the coming months. We can all only hope everyone will some day understand COVID is in our lives, forever. It’s not going away and we’re not all going to wear masks, for the entirety of our existence. Those who are too scared to face the reality we all live in, should stay home until they learn to cope and move on. Masks are unnecessary, as they never stopped COVID from wrapping around the world and they never will. All masks have done, is show who has the most control issues. I’m not against them. I’ve just abandoned fantasies of COVID disappearing. It’ll disappear as soon as the flu and the...

We arrived at 12:30pm and requested an outdoor patio table since it was a beautiful afternoon and there was another table-a four top seated outside. After waiting a few minutes the hostess asked us if we preferred to sit inside. I responded only if we were not going to be waited on outside. The hostess stated not to worry since there was a waiter specifically assigned to wait on only the patio tables. 15 minutes after being seated, a waiter stopped by our table and took our drink and food orders. Our drinks arrived 10 minutes later. Thirty-five minutes after taking our food order, the waiter stopped by to tell us it was basically swamped inside. Our food finally arrived 50 minutes after we ordered it. We were so disappointed in the service, and the quality of the food. It definitely was not worth the wait. We both agreed we would not go back there. Tip-wait staff-periodically stop and check-in with your tables-don't wait 35 minutes lapse before telling them they were swamped. There were only 3...

I was in town on my own looking for a nice, quiet place for a really good lunch that wouldn't break the bank. Maybe a mom and pop independent restaurant. I wasn't in the mood for any kind of fast food and definitely not wanting a pretentious, hipster brewery. Seriously, those were my rules as I explored beautiful Grand Rapids. I bet I drove by this place 5 times. Now getting pretty hungry, I decided to pull in, it looked like one of the nicest places in town, so how bad could it be? I could kick myself that I almost passed up on this place. Seated right away, patio is great but cool cause you're in the shade, service was great, inside was very nice - contemporary, but not pretentious. And the food was Ah-MAZ-ing!!! Will patronize EVERY TIME I visit! Excited to explore more of their delicious menu. This is a must stop if you're traveling through for work or vaca (the locals already know!). Thank you for a great afternoon!

Overall a good experience with good service. The cheese curds are excellent, and I highly recommend them. It goes without saying that the beer and cider choices here are extensive. I'd recommend this as a good choice for food and a great choice if you're looking to watch sports. My wife and I had the sourdough burger and the fired up burger. The sourdough burger was excellent. The bread was of good quality and well toasted; overall the sourdough burger was an excellent choice, though just past medium well. The fired up Burger was all right, but the bacon could have been crisper and the hamburger patty was well done. Though, perhaps I should have asked for medium when ordering. We both had fries, which were all right, but could have been better. I believe the fry oil was under temperature when they were cooked as they were a touch soft/soggy.
