I stopped eating here years ago. The food is bland and all tastes the same. Go to the café for breakfast. Not the best, but at least you'd get what you pay for. Country Kitchen is a soak. Way too much money, for $2 in eggs. All the burgers are dry and tasteless. I ordered buffalo wings with sauce burnt into the skin, otherwise none on them. Asked for more and they couldn't because the food comes from a kit. I guess they don't know what buffalo wings are. Locals are where the 5 stars come from. It's a small step up from their hamburger helper and canned, only boiled (not seasoned) vegetables. However, in a pinch or the victim of a tasteless crowd of friends, the service is good. This place was exactly as I remember it from 30 years ago. We stopped in for Breakfast while passing through grand rapids. The parking lot was JAM PACKED. We would have gone somewhere else if there wasn't multiple vehicles coming from multiple places, plus not much open on a Sunday morning. To our surprise we were seated immediately even with a full house. Our server was great for our large group. Food came out quick and hot. The food quality was on the high end for this type of place and portions were plenty. It had been 30 years or so since I have been here. Glad to see they are keeping a good place going.

I brought my daughter and fiance out for breakfast....how embarrassing to say the least... didn't even look at the menu and waitress allready asking what we want.... The picture looks so appealing until you go to bite into it HAIR IN MY PANCAKES!! I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A PICTURE! MY EGGS WERE OVER COOKED! I WANTED THE YOKE FOR MY HASH BROWNS! BROUGHT MY HASH BROWNS BACK OUT WHICH WERE THEN VERY HOT AND WATERY!! YUCK 🤮🤮 THAN IN RETURN WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR JUST MY HAIRY PANCAKES LOL 🤣 NEVER AGAIN!
