Food: shrimp po boy, Italian sandwich, turkey, breakfast sandwich with sausage on biscuit, shrimp and grits. The food was fresh, flavorful, well composed and delicious. One thing I would say is the po boy is a bit messy due to the composition of the sandwich being on two pieces of bread instead of on a 3/4 cut bun. This place is consistent with the quality they put out and is really fresh. Ice cream: brownie Sunday with vanilla bean and cookies and cookie dough, turtle Sunday with coffee ice cream , chocolate mint cookie. Homemade ice cream, delicious, not overly sweet, creamy and good amounts of chunks in the chunky ice cream. Coffee: pour over delish! Balanced, flavorful nice medium body. Atmosphere: quiet, comfortable, nice tables and great service. This place is so good that on our 4 day trip we came here twice once for Saturday brunch and again Monday for lunch. This place should be packed with people non stop it’s that good. Shop small support local.

Absolutely one of the best little eateries in the metro! They offer a simple, yet exquisite, lunch menu along with a great selection of homemade ice creams, and a Tuesday ‘dinner for 4’ option with a weekly changing menu. The owners also operate the restaurant, and are hands down some of the most honest and welcoming folks I’ve met in a very long time, they truly make you feel at home! Definitely one of my fave little go to spots for lunch and dessert.

What an amazing place for a healthy dinner with locally sourced ingredients. I'm on a very strict diet for my health, and this amazing little restaurant checked all the boxes for exactly what I needed as I was passing through town. And the taste of everything was spot on. Highly recommend for anyone who wants fresh dinner.

I decided to check this place out on whim because I live nearby and am moving soon. Trying to taste all KC had to offer before I move!

I had a rice bowl of some kind, and I gotta say... it has to be one of the top two best meals I have had all year long. I have never had tomatoes that tasted so good. In fact, I didn't know I was a tomato person, nor a beet person for that matter.

As a note for people with allergies: This eatery does not have many selections on their menu that are gluten free or dairy free. I'm pretty sure I ordered that only thing that didn't have gluten aside from their tomato soup, of which I did not ask if it was df, because it usually isn't.

I was so thoroughly impressed however, that I will have to come back just for that rice bowl. Local ingredients really do make such...

🌿 Farm-to-Table Freshness at Its Finest 🌿 Yesterday, a colleague and I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at this local farm-to-table gem—and wow, what a treat! From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place prides itself on quality and transparency. Each ingredient was locally sourced, bursting with freshness, and prepared right before our eyes. You could taste the care in every bite. If you're craving a connection to your food, your community, and a menu that celebrates the season, this spot is not to be missed. I left feeling nourished, impressed, and already planning...
