Freedom Park — Attraction in Grandview

It was our first time visiting this playground. It was so fun. Our kids had a blast. The area was clean. We felt safe the whole time. The only downside was that the only restroom around the area was locked (and we were told by a local that you have a 50/50 chance of it being locked/unlocked). Both of our little kids are potty training and while they did use the restroom right before heading to the playground, our youngest ended up having an accident while at the playground because we couldn't get to a toilet and we had to change her in the parking lot in our car. This is a great park for the kids!! Only thing I didn't like was the fact there wasn't any swing for little kids under the age of 3 years old. Other than that my kids had a blast!! Love the colorful butterfly wings that gives the park color when the sun shines through. There's a great pavillion to throw a birthday party with lots of shade! I didn't see any grills though. Clean, new equipment for the kids. The grounds are well kept and there's even a small bathroom. Soft AstroTurf for the playground area. The playground equipment is surrounded by large blocks that help keep the kids in one area without looking like an eye sore or a prison.
