My daughter & son -in-law rented this space for their wedding reception for the whole day on April 26,2025. The place itself is very nice and spacious! I did the decor myself. We stopped by a few days before the reception to get a feel of how we would set up. The owner was there setting up for an event. Very nice lady.We were told by the owner that we would receive the lock code to enter the day of the reception,and there would be 16 tables and 100 chairs. Upon arriving the day of the event the building was already open so no need for the key at that point. So we never got a code.While setting up, we noticed we only had 90 chairs,and MOST of the chairs were wobbly and some screws were hanging out which is a safty issue. Thank GOD they held up and no one fell cause the chair collapsed. They were wood and stained and dirty and paint was chipped all over them. ( but ok! cause its crunch time now!) So I called the owner @ around 12 noon. I told her the issues. The owner stated that some of the chairs had to be removed because they were broken) ,im like so how is that our fault? I told here that we had exactly 100 guests and definitely needed the other 10 chairs. She assued me that she would bring more chairs ( I'm guessing from another one of her locations). 2 hours later...no chairs oh and no code for the key. My team also needed to decorate the church for the 5:00 wedding. 3:00 comes and still no chairs to finish setting up for the reception guests. We could not lock the doors and didn't want to leave our setup/food/belongings unattended to so..... someone had to stay behind and MISS this very special day! I rushed back to the hall after the wedding and STILL no 10 missing chairs! I called the owner again! It is now about 6pm, the guest are arriving. I didn't want to tell guests that they couldn't sit down because we had to save seats. Now its close to 7pm, and the wedding party is ready to enter- still no 10 missing chairs so I called the owner AGAIN! Now, I'm embarrassed! Those missing seats were for the wedding party.!!!!!! Now it's 8pm and i get a call from the owners husband stating that he would leave the 10 chairs at the back door. Minutes later, I look out back and 6 (not 10) clear chairs are there. The chairs did not match the 90 half broken chairs that we already had which was tacky but atleast they were safe chairs. The owner definitely should invest in new chairs. But I see that she uses her good quality chairs when you pay HER to set up your event, but we did it ourselves so we got the trash. Then ....time to lock up and still no code. I stayed and cleaned the place up to be as it was when we arrived. We couldn't get what was paid for no -100 DECENT chairs, but the owner definitely didn't hesitate to send that clean up text before the event was over! They knew those chairs was trash when they left them there for us! Oh and one of the tables leg was not latching so we had to go get one from home. No better and better,especially dont play when you have been paid in full weeks prior...

I had my son's Celebration of life party at The Gallery at 705. It is a beautiful and clean blank canvas to use for any intimate event... after she did her GOD GIVEN TALENT IT WAS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!...she had his SPIRIT all through there... the colors, his photos, the flowers, the beautiful gold and black chairs, the center pieces...JUST EVERYTHING!!! the way I envisioned it to be... she brought it to reality everyone who entered was in awe!!...I laughed and cried at the same time it was just so beautiful and amazingly done. Nothing was ever too much to ask for, and questions were always answered super fast. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, or a better venue. The Gallery at 705 was the first venue that we viewed, and we left with such excitement knowing that it was the venue that we got married at; It really did exceed all exceptions of how the venue looked on the day, and how the day came together. Thank you for everything! We were beyond amazed! Our wedding really was AMAZING, thanks to you two lovely people!
