I have always loved CoreLife, at one point I used to get it weekly for lunch. I don’t live close anymore but stopped yesterday to get my favorite bowl. The girl making my bowl seemed impatient, there was no one in line behind me so I’m not sure why. But I’m most disappointed in the bowl I received, the amount of sauce she put in the bowl made it soup! I come to Corelife because it’s a healthy option but in my small bowl she put a full scoop of bbq sauce and two scoops of ranch, I figured she knew what she was making better than me but when I sat down and mixed up my bowl it literally was sopping in dressing. I suppose next time I’ll ask for sauce on the side instead of in my bowl. The portion of food also seemed much smaller than it used to be, I remember my bowls being so full I could barely mix them up, my small bowl was barely 3/4 full, and the protein I received was minimal at best. I’ve never had this problem in the past, and I’d love to come back if they can return to making things the way they used to.

We shared a delicious chicken cobb salad and ranch flank steak bowl. Both were very tasty.it was too cold when we were there, but they have a great outdoor seating area. We sat near it on the inside just we could look at it while we were eating. Some have mentioned an inexperienced staff. Our experience was that they were young but knew what they were doing. The person ahead of us had lots of questions about pretty near everything. It's a little bit of a flaw of the ordering system that a line built up behind us while his questions were being answered, but the staff did the best they could to move things along. Only legit complaint was that an employee went to the bathroom and must have vaped something awful because whatever it was lingered for a while.

I’ve been to the grandville corelife location multiple times. Everyone is always friendly and the food is great. I love the vegan options they have and that their bowls are compostable. My fiancé and I always get the big bowls and haven’t had any issues until about the last 4-5 visits. We are paying for the big bowls but getting the same amount you would get in the regular bowls. In my opinion, if you are paying for the big bowls you should have the entire bowl full with ingredients. It is very disappointing to pay almost 20 dollars and get nothing in the bowl when we usually would get a full bowl in the past.

NOT suitable for those with Celiac disease, but healthy food options for everyone else. My wife and I stopped in, along with my daughter-in-law, to pick up some food. Based on what we heard from others and saw on the website about the claims to be gluten free, we thought it would be a safe place for my daughter-in-law to eat, who has Celiac disease. Luckily, they were busy and my daughter-in-law had time to watch how food was being prepared and realized this was not safe for her. We had heard that the only gluten was in some optional bread that was kept away from everything else. This might have been the case at one time, but isn't the case as of May 2021. The menus now offers tacos with the choice of flour tortillas or naan bread. We assumed that these items would contain gluten, as there wasn't anything said to the contrary. Cross contamination was everywhere. Utensils and gloves used to make items that could be considered gluten free are used to make the tacos. When ingredients are added as the things move down the line, there isn't any concern for what touches what. Not an issue for the average person or someone who chooses to avoid gluten, but for someone with Celiac disease, that is not safe. We picked up food for us, but my daughter-in-law was not going to risk being sick for days due to cross contamination. We had to make an additional stop to find her...

Not the most accessible for newcomers. Food was OK, but seemed a bit overpriced for the quality.

My wife told me of this great place where you can pick out a base (soup, grain, salad) then a protein, then whatever veggies you want to go with that.

Apparently, they have since changed the menu, and while it looked like you still might be able to do that, there was no listing of options for the base, proteins or vegetables, so no way to decide what you want until you get to the front, where you now have to play 20 questions with the staff, while a long line of people wait behind you. The staff seemed almost as confused as I was about what they actually served.

Since I hate social pressure, I decided to go with something that was mostly on the menu, a Plate, which is a meat (that actually had options listed on the menu) and 1,2 or 3 sides, which again are left as a mystery until you get to the ordering counter and ask.

The food was nothing impressive. Flavored fairly well, but served luke warm, at best. The price point was was such that I expected at least "That was pretty good", so that was disappointing.

"Meh" Quality food and an ordering experience bordering on frustrating, I likely won't return unless I hear things...

My husband and I have been eating here for a while now do to some food restrictions that unfortunately are out of anyone's controll. It was great, costumer service was great and good was great the first few times........then all of a sudden some new employees. First - A helpful suggestion to put food labels on all items so the customer knows kind of what they need or want ahead - would help both in front and behind the counter from major confusion........or a costumer not feeling very confused by not knowing the many, many items sitting there (also would eliminate employees feeling the need to scold customers for not asking more questions so mixups don't happen when the customers are being rushed and don't feel they can ask more questions. Second - there is a sign that I myself truly dismisses at this point asking about food Allergens so the employees can help.......would take this sign seriously if when we get home our food did not contain items we specifically did not order, luckily ours is not a deadly allergy but a heath restriction is still a health restriction. Take care of you costumers and the in return will...
