I gave this place a higher rating because their margaritas were so good. I had two large rasberry margaritas. Yum! I was looking for a hole in the wall restaurant to try out. I saw a review that said it was. It was not. Nonetheless the atmosphere was inviting and nice. The price was expensive for the amount of food you get. Flavor was good. Salsa was good. It wasn't the greatest. The guacamole could use fresh ingredients added. Back to the proportion. It was close to $20 for my meal. Which was okay, because I read in other reviews, food was awesome and the proportion was huge. But that was not what I experienced. The amount I received was enough for 2 tortillas to be filled. You get three tortillas with fajitas. And I had the combination fajitas with chicken, steak and shrimp.so the amount should of been more. I had like only 4 shrimp. My eating partner had fajitas with pineapple. We shared an appetizer, chorizo and cheese dip. It had a good spice to it. Could use more cheese and pico on top would of made it amazing. Is the food descent? Yes. Is it worth the money? No. Especially driving far to check this restaurant out. Awesome margaritas though. Oh and let's not forget the rice. I did enjoy the rice. It was flavorful and not plain. Our food came out before we even got our appetizer. We had to ask about it. No big deal it happens sometimes. They brought it out and it was hot. We had a great server. She was awesome and attentive. Was totally on my side with that 2nd margarita. And we tipped her very well. I would go back and try it again if I was in the area.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I feel this experience warrants a warning for others. Our overpriced margaritas were sans tequila. I ordered 4 shots of tequilas for the table to add to our margaritas, too … make them margaritas. The “shots” were $6 (see photo for said shot). The salsa was about as much salsa as tomato soup, the queso was ice cold, the chicken in the quesadillas seemed to be boiled and lacked any seasoning. My friends margarita glass had a chip in it. Save your money and your heartache.

This place was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The chips were very flavorful. My husband had the (huge) Burrito Loco with steak, shrimp, and chicken covered in cheese. I had the most tender Carne Asada I've had in years. Our waiter was wonderful and had a great sense of humor. Stayed on top of our needs. Margaritas were a little pricey but overall the experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back soon!

Worst experience ever. Our waiter was very rude and rushy I walked in 5 min after my friends who were in the middle of ordering drinks I said hello to everyone including the waiter and asked for just a water. When it was time to order food my friend ordered first and asked for additional toppings (that we would pay for) and he told her no she’s only allowed two in her tacos she shook it off whatever then when food came my order was something completely different than what I had asked for not a big deal I informed another waiter since ours was busy and he seen me looking around for assistance I told him I don’t mean to bother but the food was not what I had ordered he changed it out for me and I apologized again for being a bother(if I was) then when it came time to pay this man literally started an argument with me and wanted me to pay for both my correct and incorrect order I didn’t even have a bite of the wrong order because I noticed it right away I asked for it to be removed and he lost list I said I’m not paying for something I didn’t order and didn’t eat if I would have eaten it then absolutely by all means charge me for it. accidents happen and people make mistakes but come on to yell at me in the restaurant about it was ridiculous and uncalled for especially since again I didn’t order it he then proceeded to go take it off my bill stood at the computer staring at me yelling to his coworkers about me and waving his arms around me completely rude and never have experienced this before 10/10 don’t recommend think his...

I was in the area visiting my brother over at GVSU, and we stopped to get tacos (takeout) for dinner. Let me tell you…the tacos were amazing! We were both shook. We are both Mexican-Americans, with Mexican born parents. Growing up in Michigan, believe it or not it’s very hard to find decent tacos. The closest decent tacos to us is probably in Chicago to be honest. We travel to Mexico quite frequently as well and know what good tacos taste like. We are very picky and grew up having homemade everything so our standards are quite high. The tacos here were fresh and hot. We got asada and al pastor. Both meats had good flavor. The tortillas were not soggy at all. And the best part they gave us plenty of limes. I hate when restaurants are skimpy with limes on tacos but not here. Also another good component to a good taco is the salsa. It can make or break the taco. The salsa here was spicy and yummy! I believe made with chile de árbol, (we asked for red only) which for us personally we enjoy spicy! The chips were also good here too! The gentlemen that took our order was nice as well! Happy to have found a place that does good tacos! Overall all good experience and we were very surprised! Will be back in the future for sure for some tacos! Sincerely, 2 picky...
