I have an 11 year old diagnosed with type 1 diabetes requiring 8 to 10 injections a day. While we want him to feel as normal as any other child, when he requests McDonalds every once in a while, we would like to be able to offer it to him just like many other parents. However, against FDA regulations this McDonald's refused to disclose nutritional information when requested, and even denied the chain serving biscuits and gravy on their menu. Mind you I wasn't being a picky customer, this information was necessary so we could administer our son's proper dosage. We then were forced to tell our son he couldn't have the food we brought home and rearrange a whole new meal for him thanks to the rude worker that answered our call 3/13/21 and then hung up and blocked our number from being able to call again. Was under the impression that this fast food chain was much more supportive of disabled children, but apparently they don't have time to deal with a child with special needs let alone following FDA regulations.
FROM THE FDA WEBSITE: FDA now requires businesses to provide the following written information upon request: total calories, total fat, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, sodium, total carbohydrates, sugars, fiber and protein. That’s why stores are required to display statements explaining that other nutritional info is available upon request, as well as advice for general nutrition, including daily calorie...
Read moreThe womens bathroom is usually pretty clean, the dinning room is kinda small and they have eliminated the soda fountain, so you have to stand in line and wait with everyone else to get a refill and you have to pay for it, they tend to mess up every other order and almost always have to either take it back to them and get it fixed or just eat it like it is, that's if they even remembered to put it in the bag or maybe they just don't read the expediter ticket that tells them what the order is, and how they want it to be prepared. Cause I don't know how many times I have repeated my order and had them repeat it back to only have missing items and prepared incorrectly per instruction, and when that happens which is too often on top of it I receive attitude and it's a hassle to get an order replaced on a different day, cause they don't write your name in the book like they used to so if you don't have your receipt or if you wait more than the next day they have a hard time replacing it, and the fries are always soggy and cold with way too much salt and some of the time they are not salted enough, but mostly they're never cooked enough, the shake machine is always broken or down...
Read moreSince McDonald's website is not working properly and would not let me post a review here it is: Poor management. Fries were very over salted. Why is it there were 8-10 employees total and only 2 or 3 were actually doing something? I guess getting paid to do nothing is nice. I stood there for several minutes without my order being taken (again everyone was just standing around doing nothing) and keep noted I was the only customer inside the store at the time. I had ordered two meals and being the only order it should not have taken as long as it did. The manager was there when this occurred and never confronted her employees about their poor performance. As someone who is in the fast food industry myself I usually am pretty laid back about this kind of stuff. If i ever treated a customer like I was treated here, repercussions would be taken immediately. Hopefully the regional general manager will be notified of this since obviously the manager that was in charge at the time does not now how to guide her staff in the...
