Heavenly Scoops Creamery — Restaurant in Granite Quarry

While the ice cream is great, there are 2 men (temporarily, I'm assuming) working there right now (one older, one younger). The past 2 times I went here, they BOTH tried to give me a display cone. Exposed to the air and everyone's breath and germs - a display cone. I'm trying not to assume this was a racially discriminatory situation. However it also would be very unfortunate if they really are just ignorant like that. I had to uncomfortably tell them twice "please don't give me that cone, do you have any other/ fresh ones?" I tipped as always (so did my brother) and we were respectful, however I dont like my previous experiences. Due to the all the sicknesses and just plain issues people have with hygiene and spreading things .... common sense should let you know, and when serving food to the general public.... Just be careful. Unless the women are working. They are nice and kind, are considerate😇 & they make you feel welcomed. Shout out to Kyra & her mom!

Sidenote: They tried to tell us that they had just put the cone out (both times) however you cannot trust that. THIS PLACE ROCKED! The ice cream was amazing! Though the extreme chocolate was too frozen for a shake, they gladly told and was okay with me changing my order. I recommend the Better Brownie Batter and Extreme Chocolate combo 2 scoops. WILL COME AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!...
