The Hotdog Shack — Restaurant in Granite Quarry

So as many awesome things as I've heard about this Lil hamburger/hotdog place, I just now ate here last night for the first time. And let me tell you something: MOST DEFINITELY one of (if not the) best burger I've ever had. It was so flavorful. I got the double bacon cheeseburger w extra cheese, cheese sauce, and sautéed peppers and onions. It was scrumdeliumtious. And the onion rings were fantastic. My fave kind. Not only bc of the flavor but bc - ya know how sometimes you get some that aren't crunchy enough or they're soggy so u just pull the whole onion out with one bite of the batter. Well, not w these. They were cooked to perfection. The fries could have been better but I'm also not the one to judge those bc I don't really like crinkle cuts unless they r more on the crunchy side, but I'm also pretty sure that if I asked for them to be more crispy they would be glad to cook them a couple mins longer.. the employees were very nice and fast to help me and to make my order. Placed my order in store and didn't wait even 10 minutes. And it's a much cheaper option than even McDonald's or any other fast food place. I got a dbl burger, a chs burger, 2 fries, and order of onion rings for 20$ and that's w "add-ons" for each burger. That's a heck of a deal especially w today's prices. Next time I go I've gotta try the cheerwine slush. And I think it's pretty awesome that they have glass bottles of several classic beverages. The decor inside is pretty awesome too. They've also got a drive thru window. I think it's for call in orders only. But I couldn't be sure.. nice atmosphere nice ppl and great food. Would like to make note that while it's a GREAT place to eat if u want a burger or hotdog, BUT they do not have variety of things to chosen from. Literally whole menu is like 6 things., ĵuat informing. 15/10 would recommend eating here on the days u rlly just want something simple or u rlly want a good burger/hotdog (I have no idea how good/bad the hotdog is bc I DO NOT eat...

I’m not even sure where to start! We pull up to the park 3 mins away I noticed something black in the bag wrapped up?! I kept thinking what could that be!? I open it and it’s the tenders burnt!! I refuse to give these to my son like this. I called there and asked no one saw these were burnt before packing and bagging them?? The girl hands the phone to the cook. He asked me what I wanted him to do give me some free ones or something? Lol no I’m bringing these back I need new ones! He said okay.. I get back to the park and I have 3 combos but 2 fries!!! Now we have to decide who gets little to no fries!!! There’s already very little in the containers as it is! The onion rings were almost over cooked but good. The hotdogs from a hotdog joint were some of the worst we’d ever had!!! Boiled hotdog in a cold untoasted bun! I’ve had a better hotdog at sheetz for 0.50..seriously. I tried to give it to my older son (who loves hotdogs) he wouldn’t eat it either. My youngest son didn’t eat it either so we just threw it away. I didn’t know hotdogs could be made so bad. The bacon cheese burger was good. We wasted quite a bit of money here and will not return....

I came here two weeks ago, and had an absolutely fabulous experience where everything was wonderful from the staff to the food. Now I come today and they tell me they cannot turn my fries into chili cheese fries. I said I can pay extra they still say no. I said can I pay for an entire extra order of chili cheese fries and you just make my combo have the chili cheese fries. They can keep the plain fry but I wanted chili cheese fries with my combo and had no problem paying for it at all. Still both girls say no they cannot modify a combo in any way but like if I’m paying an extra $5 to purchase a separate chili cheese fry then why can they not put the chili cheese fry with my combo????
