Starbucks — Restaurant in Grapevine

I’ve visited this location a few times in the past and service and quality has always been great. But this morning, 8/15/22 I visited this location and ordered a Matcha Latte with Oatmilk and Brown Sugar syrup. They incorrectly made it with Cinnamon Dulce syrup instead. So I came right back through the drive-thru and let them know of the mistake. I did not receive an apology and was asked to pull forward. When I pull forward I was not greeted nor was an apology given, and the woman working the drive-thru just shoves the latte out the window in my face without saying a word. So before I grab it I said “Hi, can you please throw the incorrect one away?” And she goes “we can’t take anything back.” and stares at me waiting for me to grab the new latte. So I give her a confused look, pull around, walk inside and dump the incorrect latte in the trash. It would be a lot more convenient and less messy if they took back their incorrect orders and properly dispose of them in the sink vs. having customers dump a full cup of liquid in a trash can. Terrible customer service and terrible customer...

I had a few issues with this place in the past but today was unacceptable. As soon as i began ordering the guy was pretty rude, i asked him if I could add some Carmel onto a matcha Frap and he responded so rudely mocking me :( not to mention it Cost like an extra 2.00 dollars!!! So when I ordered a Matcha Frap with Carmel, and an Iced caramel macchiato with almond milk the total was like $10.25 for Only two things!!! It was a Tall and a Grande BUT discounted cus I had a reusable cup!! When my ordered was called out i realized it was not a Iced Carmel macchiato, but actually a hot Cinnamon latte.... I don’t get how they could mess that up XD If that wasn’t bad enough I got the Matcha Frap and it looked like literal water with matcha... you couldn’t even see the milk or caramel, I asked if they could add some caramel and they said that it already had some. Now Its my fault that I didn’t specify to do a Caramel drizzle, but the guy rudely said that if I wanted a drizzle I should have told him in the first place!! I’m so upset I don’t think I’ll be coming...

On my way from N.Dallas across George Bush to 635 and onto DFW Airport to pickup my wife. We are a "morning family" who cannot function coherently without a strong... heavy... Cuban/Latin like coffee. I passed the DFW exit to find the nearest Starbucks drive-thru... 10 minutes before she lands. The drive-thru was 7 cars deep... and after observing the car at the speaker for what seemed like 10 minutes... really only 2 minutes, everyone started moving farely fast. I forgot how my wife likes her Double Espresso Shot (it is with a cappuccino)... I was convinced to have it with "The Coffee of Day" cream on side. The gentleman at the window had exceptional customer service presence. He made me feel good about our agreed choice over cappuccino. At D-38 terminal garage, I poured out 1/4 so she could add cream... just as she crossed over into garage. She was extremely happy with our choice and she will order it that way from now on. I got a "Double Shot" of a kiss for thinking of the coffee....
