McDonald's — Restaurant in Gray

The lobby was closed. I think that it is always closed. We waited in the drive-thru line for 1 hour & 15 minutes (75 minutes) just to place our order and another 10 minutes before we got our food. When we got to the pick-up window it was pandemonium inside McDonald's. The employee tried to give me the wrong food. Fortunately, he was saying what was in the bag so I was able to refuse it before it got to me. I told him our order and he searched for a few seconds before coming back with it. Then I had to remind him what drinks we ordered. He could not find the 2nd drink from our order which was a large Sweet Tea with no ice. He repeatedly tried to hand me the wrong drink and when he tried to leave the window to go get it I had to get his attention and point at the only large drink with no ice that was right there in front of him so he could give it to me. In his defense though, I don't believe that he was the source of the problem. I think that other employees who were filling orders were not putting the parts of the separate orders together and were instead just jamming everything into his area and leaving him to sort it out. Had his coworkers been doing their jobs properly and had the manager been managing to keep everything operating in an orderly manner then the guy at the window wouldn't have looked like he was the problem. I think your owners need to re-evaluate their staff. Every time I come there, my order is NEVER correct. NEVER! Either your kitchen staff doesn’t care or they can’t read and follow directions. Was just there (something quick to eat for our 14 y/o). When someone orders a burger with ONLY pickles, who puts ONE itty bitty pickle on it and for a manager to let that go out the door like that? Seriously??? Manager tried handing us a medium coke and a water that we did not order (BUT PAID FOR!) and when handed back to her, she said absolutely NOTHING!! Also got a small fry that we didn’t order but paid for also. What are you doing???? Will NEVER come back there. You really should do something about your staff. One baby friggin pickle??? Ordered a large coffee and an Egg McMuffin and what I got was a large coffee and a sausage biscuit. Next trip ordered a large coffee with extra cream and sugar. The girl repeated large coffee with one cream and one sugar. I said no that’s a large coffee with extra cream and extra sugar. She said don’t Yellit me I can’t hear you. Third try ordered a large coffee extra cream with extra sugar and an egg McMuffin. The girl said that’s a large coffee with extra cream and extra sugar. I said yes. And an Egg McMuffin. She said OK so you want a large coffee with it I said yes that’ll be fine. Paid for my coffee and left. Stopped at the McDonald’s in Auburn and got an Egg McMuffin. Won’t go to this McDonald’s ever again. It’s on my way to work and I usually stop five days a week there but...
