Perks Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Great Bend

Our crew has ordered from here many times and always enjoyed. Until today! The woman answering the phone couldn't stop laughing to even take an order and was completely unprofessional and highly agitating. Wanted to order American clubs, which we reviewed from website off of Google. After 3 minutes of her laughing and telling someone at the location how funny they were repeatedly, she responded with oh we don't have club sandwiches. Should have been pretty simple. Turkey, ham, bacon, 2 cheeses, tomatoes, onion. She informed me they were out of a lot and could put turkey, lettuce, tomatoes and would cost $8 each. Sorry sunshine but that is ridiculous. After I got off the phone I went to the Facebook page where you click to download menu. Guess what?? Nothing downloads. New owners, new tech staff and clearly zero chance at getting anything you want, all while dealing with annoying receptionist. Well I can guarantee our crews will not order from there again. We've been excited to try the fried chicken so tonight we went. I had the turkey apricot sandwich. The bread was soggy, the jelly was so sweet it overpowered everything else on the sandwich. I mean it was edible but just meh. My husband had the fried chicken. He got 2 legs and a breast all overcooked and the breast was so done it was almost enedible. He was never offered a roll or a dessert and we were charged for his tea. According to advertising all of these things come with the chicken dinner. He said something at the register to our server about dessert and she just went on ringing us up and didn't acknowledge he'd spoken. In Great Bend from out of town to visit family. Needed a space to video conference for work - as soon as the man at the counter saw my laptop, he directed me to a quiet table near an outlet. Iced coffee was GREAT! As someone who usually stops by a popular national chain based out of Seattle most mornings, this coffee was for sure comparable if not better! Wonderful customer service as well. If you are a coffee person, stop in and visit Re-Perks while in GB! I will for sure be making a stop next time...
