I prefer to not utilize the deli at my local IGA. I will go to Schultes, Super 1, or Albertson's for Any prepared meals I may want. The deli staff at IGA, just leave a bad taste in my mouth. Both literally and figuratively speaking. All of the employees at the deli could use some serious retraining. From the dept manager all the way down to the new hire. They are abrupt, almost to the point of rude, they don't listen and won't even try to make a plate or bowl of pasta salad look good when they portion it out for customers. Yes, it may be a bit spendy at times, sure, but it's worth every penny. Most other supermarkets I be found half their produce to be wilted, dried up, and/or very over ripened... I've experienced on more than a few occasions, one time as I was biting into a peach that seemed perfect only to uncover a rotted out center with fuzzzz even covering the inside of the mushy not normally...
