IGA Deli - Great Falls MT — Restaurant in Great Falls

I prefer to not utilize the deli at my local IGA. I will go to Schultes, Super 1, or Albertson's for Any prepared meals I may want. The deli staff at IGA, just leave a bad taste in my mouth. Both literally and figuratively speaking. All of the employees at the deli could use some serious retraining. From the dept manager all the way down to the new hire. They are abrupt, almost to the point of rude, they don't listen and won't even try to make a plate or bowl of pasta salad look good when they portion it out for customers. The rest of the store and debts are amazing! Nothing but love and kudos to all other employees of IGA on 25th and 6th North. Enjoy the shopping, buy steer clear of the Deli! I too enjoy iga's deli over most we have in town but I think the best part in the entire store would probably be the produce section. Yes, it may be a bit spendy at times, sure, but it's worth every penny. Most other supermarkets I be found half their produce to be wilted, dried up, and/or very over ripened... I've experienced on more than a few occasions, one time as I was biting into a peach that seemed perfect only to uncover a rotted out center with fuzzzz even covering the inside of the mushy not normally...

Very good chicken. Probably the best in town. But, beware the chicken Nazi. If you order a three-piece meal or more she will try to Stick you with mostly wings. And then give you some double talk about dark or white meat. She's sneaky so watch out. She also seems to have a little bit of an attitude. She kind of acts like you are bothering her. She's the old gray haired long haired...
