MI coffee — Restaurant in Green Lake Township

Came by here today to order a small black coffee and a medium coffee with cream and coconut flavor. The girl at the window had the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered at a coffee place. I go to coffee shops all the time and have never had an experience like this. The girl yelled HELLO at our car multiple times when we pulled up and said hi. We almost just left because she was so snappy and rude. I got my coffee and it didn’t have cream and she basically threw a fit and slammed the window, made a face and said “you didn’t ASK for cream” which we did because we had two people in the car. We confronted her after we got our drinks saying we were sorry she didn’t hear us about the cream and that her attitude was absolutely awful. She should not be working...

Initially when first experiencing this coffee truck right after opening I was EXTREMELY impressed. During the first several months I would visit frequently throughout my work week. Over time I noticed the drinks getting more and more inconsistent, as were the staff. Mine and my husbands drinks have been continously unsatisfactory. A couple examples: When asking for an extra shot or two of espresso I've watched baristas on numerous occasions continously fill the same shot, with the same espresso grounds and then call it an "extra shot". Another common mistake, when asking for a BREVE I've received a LATTE. A true barista who is trained correctly knows a latte is made with 2% milk usually unless specified otherwise, and a breve is made...

So you can both walk up or drive up but it’s all the same window. It was cold and rainy out so we did drive up.

The menu is pretty simple. They have some specialty lattes but otherwise normal things like coffee, espresso, etc

I got their traverse city latte with oat milk which has cherry chocolate syrup. Really liked it, the flavors were not overpowering and didn’t seem fake. My husband got a shot in the dark which is coffee and espresso with no cream or sugar. It was exactly what he wanted so he liked it as well!

Prices are very reasonable and service is fast. Drink carriers are available if you have lots of drinks. Suggestion to go to Mimi’s which is located in the same plaza for lunch if you...
