We visited in Mid-November but still beautiful scenery. The atmosphere inside is quite pleasant and nice interior. They are not offering wine flights during Co-Vid, which was a disappointment since it is still on the menu and this was our first time there. I asked for preference on a dry and they suggested the Merlot. The Merlot was decent, on a scale of 1-10 it was an 8. Another person ordered the spiked Hot Coco, you have a choice of multiple liquors to choose from and ordered it with Kahlua, it was sweet and not an overpowering liquor taste. We ordered multiple pizzas and had little communication about the orders. The lobster pizza was delicious and came out quick followed by the Caprese. A meatball sub pizza that was ordered prior to the previous pizzas took an extra 20 mins, however we were not told it would take a much longer time than the others for a total of over 35 mins to receive. The special order Caprese also took an extra long time because they ran out of basil and ran to the store but did not say anything. All in all a...
Read moreFirst impression on the outside looked Amazing once going in I must admot the Steward was more of a tipical bartender additude and all.I was hoping for more friendly service from a business like this..Once picking the right bottle with no help from the two stewards not even a hint of suggestion to their wine we picked a mixed berry red sweet wine..The wine was very good. We walked to the bottom patio not to many stairs and a decent view for the area over looking Portage lakes..Clean restrooms and nice decor i will admit but again the service and friendliness of the "bartenders" was poor not a smile and very short was very disapointing but I would go back and hope for a better experience I think it was a very nice...
Read moreNice little place for wine and a light menu. Great during the summer to sit out on the deck and look out on the lake. They have extra tables down the hill near the dock as well. You can get a wine sample of 3 wines and keep the wine glass for $5. Today we tried their wine slushies which were very refreshing. The berry-grape slushie was very good. The raspberry & apple was not as good. It didn't have very much taste but was refreshing. The meat & cheese tray was very good and the hummus & veggie tray was good as well. There were quite a few people there but plenty of tables outside. The big drawback is parking. We had to park across the street and it's not always safe to cross the 4 lane...
