Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Greenacres

Placed an order online the night before I needed the pizza for a party. Called an hour before the pick up time to confirm they had the order and it would be ready. Went to get the pizza 15 minutes after the pick up time, and was told it was in the oven. Then they proceeded to say they never got the order. The "manager" (I use that term loosely) asked for my name and said they couldn't have had the order since I wasn't even in the computer. The employee at the counter even stated I had called and she put the order in the back. Not until I demanded a refund since I had prepaid did the manager even bother to go ask questions. She came back with the receipt to my order to perform my refund. When I asked how it was possible that I was not in the computer and that they hadn't received my order when she had my receipt she couldn't even manage an apology. I asked for the owners information to which she replied all she knew was his first name. Really no one has any information or contact information for the owner. We had a magnet on the refrigerator and decided to order for delivery since it was raining out. I ordered an Italian sub and a liter of soda. I was never ever told that there was a 4.99 delivery fee or I would never have ordered it. W Crunch hen I received a text message saying that it was $23.05, I could not even believe what I was seeing. I think it should’ve been divulged right from the beginning that there was a $4.99 delivery charge, even though we were right up the street and that price did not include a tip for the driver, by the way, the driver was extremely friendly and kind and he was great. He was the only thing that was great. The sub was absolutely awful. It seemed like it was all bread and it tasted like a dirty oven. I asked for extra lettuce after the sub was heated so it would be crunchy and I did not get that. I don’t even know what kind of meat was on the sub, but it was absolutely awful. Between the sub, the soda, the delivery charge and the tip, it cost me $30. That is crazy!! I could not even eat my $30 sub! Awful, awful, awful! Also, not much understanding from the manager!! I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I felt I had to share my recent experience here. We ordered a salad and a barbacoa pizza. The salad was fine—fresh and normal. However, the rest of the experience was disappointing.

It took over 30 minutes just to get our pizza, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. When it finally arrived, it didn’t even look like a pizza. The dough was extremely soft—you couldn’t even hold a slice with your hand because it would just collapse. The flavor wasn’t good either, and it felt like something was missing.

When I asked the waiter if this was normal, he said yes. I asked again, and he offered to call the owner. The owner/boss came to our table and told us that this was a “pizza contemporánea” and that pizzas in Italy are like this. Then he simply walked away without offering any kind of apology, explanation, or solution.

The whole situation felt dismissive and unprofessional. Slow service, disappointing food, and staff who didn’t seem to care about customer feedback. I won’t...
