I went into this so optimistic. I will start off saying the flavor of the dishes we got was good. The tacos Mexicanos was the best price for what it was.We spent $40 on 3 entrees but we go to open the food (a to go order) and we were left wondering where the food was. The surf and turf dip (a specialty entree) didn’t have enough meat to fill the three small tortillas that came with the dish. The prices of the dishes versus the amount of food given does not add up. If you spend $40 on three dishes there should be enough to feed 2 people and it was stretching it. I was left disappointed. Maybe dining in the portions are better but our to go order came up short. No words can do this place justice. First time eating here (we used doordash), and we are hooked, lined, and sinkered. We were gluttonous and had their Speedy Gonzales, a Chimichanga, their 3 Tacos Mexicanos (Asada), and their Quesabirra. I could smell it before the driver even made it to my door. I went up there to order carry out because I had never been there before and wanted to check it out. The atmosphere was nice and it was much improved from when it was an Italian restaurant just the whole layout was nice. It took approximately 40 minutes to get my order which I think is okay they were pretty busy and I didn’t call ahead. The food was hot and fresh. We liked everything but was not impressed with the street corn. It looks amazing but tastes mid. The house punch is good. It was really hot inside the restaurant while waiting on my food.
