Pizza Inn — Restaurant in Greeneville

I have never been so disappointed and upset with a visit anywhere as I was here on this particular day (09/17/2024). I had called in an order for a medium pep and a small pineapple dessert pizza. So I pick up my order and get home and both were still doughy. Definitely undercooked. So I call back and speak with the manager that was on duty which she was very friendly and helpful and offered to remake them and make them a large instead of a medium and small. So I go back to pick them up and even take the bad ones in and let me throw this in first so there is no confusion, the night before I had called about 7:30 to place an order for a small pineapple dessert pizza, because normally they are absolutely amazing, and was put on hold which is no problem but I waited on hold for like 10 min so I decided to call back because they close at 8. The lady answers and I proceed to tell her I would like to order a small pineapple dessert pizza and she says well we close in 15 min. And I said I understand but I was on hold for 10 min waiting to give my order and she said well if you can make it here within 10-15 min before we close I will go ahead and take your order so I said yes I definitely can because I live close by. So back to the original story. I got back to the store and walk in and this same lady walks up and says can I help you and I tell her the issue and that I had already spoken to the manager and she was remaking the pizzas. She takes the pizzas and walks to the end of the salad bar and sits them down to check them. Ok not a problem at all because they were as I said still doughy but in the mean time she is standing there with the manager and I see and hear her whispering something to the manager so I politely asked if there was an issue and she says " didn't you call in and complain about something last night?" By this point I was upset but not furious. I tell her no I didn't have a complaint I had just called to place an order and was placed on hold and that you wasn't going to take my order because it was almost time to close but ended up taking my order because I was close by. I said I didn't complain about anything and I said that wasn't very nice. Really rude in my opinion. And then she keeps giving me these negative looks. Well the food gets done and she brings it to the counter along with the manager and another coworker was standing there and she said go ahead and check it. So I do and I had paid .75 for extra icing on the dessert pizza which there was just the regular amount so I said I had paid for extra icing would it be ok for me to get a little more and show my receipt and she looks at the manager and says well you put extra icing on it didn't you and they just look at each other like I was a problem and just being really rude. By the time I got back home I was so upset that I couldn't even eat. I was literally in tears because they were so rude all because I didn't want to eat doughy pizza and made me feel so bad. So I stick it in the fridge then when I finally do decide to try to eat a little bit later I heat a small piece up and it is the same way and I tried half a piece of the dessert pizza and started feeling sick to my stomach so I just stopped. So needless to say I would love to get in touch with the owner or store manager because this was the rudest and worst experience I have ever had at...

Love this place . Have more than 6 🍕's on the Buffet . Buffet is EVERY NIGHT - unlike Pizza Hut , that only has a Night Buffet on Tuesday's. Pizza Inn - even has Spaghetti / Chili & 2-3 Soup's on the Buffet. Salad bar , is ok.....I don't eat anything much of a Salad so for what's there it would Work. They even had Pizzerts ( Dessert Pizza ) had a Pumpkin Pizzert ( limited time ) I LOVE Pumpkin anything !!! Staff are WONDERFUL & willing to help you anyway they possibly can. They even do Find Raisers , on Monday's & Tuesday's for School's - Football / Softball / Basketball Etc. And the Children .... are your Server's. LOVE IT !

5/3/23 *. LOUISE ( Server ) Is a GEM 💎.

Place is getting pretty bad about taking " Special Orders " for the Buffet ...... Last Week & again this Week --- they wouldn't make what ya asked for. Last Week , asked early enough * they claimed to busy to make ** wouldn't have been bad IF they didn't have 2-3 of the SAME PIZZA'S on Bar 🤬🤬. This Week , we were later than normal time .... but they still wouldn't make anything asked for.

🤔 Time to talk to Corporate ..... or least one of the " Normal " Manager's that are usually there .... Last few Visits ..... Seems no real Manager is there .... One's may be " Acting " Mgr.'s but they're not that good.

10/04/23 * STOP putting so many Pepperoni 🍕 🍕 on the Bar ...... Least when a " Certain " Manager is there ** she'll really try to get what ya want out on Bar.

Still COLD 🥶🥶 in here ..... Glad I come in with Insulated Pants on ( lined in Fleece ) & a Jacket..... Still gets Cool.

WISH they had Signs up for Children under certain Age * needing Adult supervision 🙄😵😵🤔 with touching everything .

And I think ALL BUFFET'S , need to go back to GLOVES 🧤 being worn ( we wear em * for our OWN ** protection ) but if everyone did 🤔🤔🤔🤔 that's just EXTRA SAFE 👍👍👍👍👍.

In the past my wife and I have eaten here many times until the service got poor, food was not up to par but Since Pizza Inn has put their new add on tv about all you can eat lunch special for $8 we have been their several times. The food is very good and plentiful, service has very much improved to be very courteous, polite and helpful. However, today brought a new adventure. My wife noticed a young man that was coming into the restaurant holding a good size turtle. He and the ladies he was with were seated at the table next to us. He handed the turtle to one of the ladies while he went to get some pizza. when he returned he took the turtle back and held it so gentle. then begin to feed it off his plate by hand.. When we were ready to pay, I asked the cashier did they allow turtles in here to be feed from the table. She responded with a shocked reaction and then went and got the manager. As we were leaving the manager was heading toward that table. The results, I do not know, but allowing pets of any sort to come into a restaurant and be fed from the table while being held or under the table is not acceptable in my opinion. Allowing people to stand at the bar in line and eat while waiting on pizza to be placed on the bar should not be allowed either. My suggestion is that the servers be aware of who and what they are serving. And to ask that people wait until they are seated to...
