Waffle House — Restaurant in Greenfield Township

This was the worst waffle house I've ever experienced. we sat and waited 15 minutes before noticing that another couple had come in, sat, been greeted, and already ordered their food. i went up to the counter to ask if we could place our order, the girl with the glasses DIDN'T SAY A WORD, and pointed at our table and called another girl by name. our server, who was very kind but visibly struggling with every table, took our order. then 10 minutes later came back to verify our requests only to bring us both half of our order, which was incorrect. when our food came the second time we had to ask for silverware. the second half of one order never came and i had to ask for the other parts of my order, which were disappointing at best. by the time we got most of our correct meal others had entered, ordered, ate their food and left the restaurant. we were there on a sunday around 1:30 and the manager came out of your office after the rush already had multiple servers and the 2 cooks struggling. the leadership presence was nonexistent until it was too late. the worst part is that he was helping out while they were clearly talking about our messed up meals but never once came to apologize. his role at this location should be questioned. this is the first of many waffle house locations I've ever visited that had such unfriendly, inefficient team members and such a disengaged manager. the food we was good, once it was made correctly. and our server, and the lady who cashed us out were plesant. it seems there could be a bit of retraining for both the servers and...

The 2 ladies that I have had the pleasure of being served by both times I have visited lately on my several hrs weekend journeys are OMG! I LOVE THEM WANNA KEEP THEM!!! I've worked service and come from a long line of ladies in the food service ...so I KNOW how it can get.. These 2 (I wish for the life of me could remember their names)...they stay up beat funny friendly and on point with your order!!! And sweet as can be in remembering you and like with me I love my creamer lol she remembered that after my 1st visit and a week later at that. I Say ..unless you are a regular you never get that anywhere anymore!!! We'll last time I had the pleasure of stopping in they were busy...but not for these 2...grill had no problem stepping in and getting my order stared while other was finishing up on 3 tables. Trust me I hadn't been waiting long at all or complaining...I was enjoying watching these 2 wonderful ladies do their thing....like a well oiled machine my dad would say. Everything is always clean fresh cooked to protection! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK...

Review of experience 2 weeks ago...

There were a couple let downs and that is why I rated 3/5.

1/2 of restaurant being used. Was told due to staffing shortage, they were at capacity, was asked to wait which was a little interesting with no lobby. We didn't have to wait long as a couple vacated to open a table. There were 4 of us eating. My suggestion would be to go ahead and have people sit in the unused tables until a table being served opens up.

My order was off a little. They lost money because of it and it was extra food that I didn't need. I requested a full order of hashbrowns with my breakfast with most of the extra toppings. I got the regular amount as a side with the rest of the breakfast and plain. As the waitress was taking our order she mentioned that she was writing the order on a napkin because her order book was at another table.

I know times are tough and services are lacking. The quality food was good and will be back for sure. This was just my honest review this time at...
