George Webb Restaurant — Restaurant in Greenfield

One star for EVERYTHING!. I had a HORRIBLE experience. I’ve been to this George Webbs numerous of times and I’ve never had an issue until now. I order some food to go for my family and I and the wait was extremely long. Once I received my order I saw how everything was thrown into the bag. My steak (which looked half cooked) was shoved into a small container which is unacceptable. My eggs and hash browns were cold and the hamburger and chicken sandwich were just thrown into a container. I politely asked the manager for a refund and his automatic response was “I’m not giving you a refund. There’s nothing wrong with the food” after we went back and forth a bit I handed him the receipt and he aggressively snatched the receipt from my hand and began to threaten to call the cops all because I simply asked for a refund. By me being a young man of color, I felt completely offended and uncomfortable. He eventually gave me my refund back. After that experience I most definitely WILL NOT be going back to that George Webbs. And please be advised I noticed that one of the cooks was handling and touching people’s food bare hands...

In response to the recent review written by Phil I... Phil, you forgot to mention that it was after you and friend, both finished your meals that you asked for a refund. After the server said she would not refund your money you were both rude and yelled obscenities as you left the restaurant. Also, after you left you tried to come back in yelling. That is when the server locked the doors on you. Instead of leaving for good both of you tried to gain entry to the restaurant through their back door. When you didn't succeed at coming in through the back, both of you vandalized the restaurants property by smashing the flowers, throwing and breaking the garbage can and chairs. Numerous customers saw what both of you did, not to mention recorded your obscene behavior. The employees at this restaurant are awesome and so is the food. How dare you write that review after how you acted and what you did. All you were doing was trying to get a free meal and when the server wouldn't refund your money, you got mad and acted like morons!...

I used to love this establishment it was relaxing the staff was friendly and always got your food right, but things have changed now they can’t get your order right, the staff is not friendly and establishment is very dirty I sat there for 30 minutes and not one table is clean and the place was a mess. I love the Worker Ben he was one of the main reasons I kept on coming back and now he’s quitting and I don’t blame him! This restaurant went downhill tremendously and the prices went up. When I was there with my mother and fiancé they got our order completely wrong so we walked out! This was the place me and my fiancé went on our first date seven years ago and see how downhill it went breaks my heart, we used to spend every Saturday they’re not anymore! The owner is a sweetheart but she needs to get her staff to get it together, and treat a good employees like Ben.
