I’ve lived in Greenfield most of my life and I LOVE LJS’s so I’ve been to this location more times than I can count. It’s always looked like a condemned crack den, the owners have NEVER cared and/or valued the importance of reinvesting into their business and it’s always been hit or miss as far as food quality and service, but the last 6 or 7 years or so it’s gotten really really bad! I went from eating here about once a week to maybe once every 3-5 months.
Today I decided to come back after a 10 month hiatus since getting food poisoning for the 2nd time in a year from here and was very plenty surprised by a new employee. All I can say is I absolutely loved Cooper!!! He was extremely polite, patient, sweet and kind and made sure my food was made fresh for me! I sure hope you treat him better than past employees so he’ll stay and I can start coming back regularly again!!
Oh, and for the love of fish and shrimp, if you’re going to continue letting your building and business deteriorate as you have for the last 30 years, at the very least do something about the weeds and overgrown landscaping!!!! Not just for the appearance, but it also attracts and becomes a breeding ground for rodents and...
Read moreVery dissatisfied, stopped in for lunch for Sunday ALL YOU CAN EAT. I was given I piece of Fish & a piece of chicken, I requested additional chicken and fish when the served me. And was told I would just need to let them know... "I just did". After I finished my first plate, i again requested additional fish & chicken. I was brought 1 piece of fish and told "we are currently out of chicken , but will bring it as soon as it's done." In the meantime 3 other couples were served. I NEVER received another piece of chicken or fish. When I left I told the staff I was very dissatisfied. The response I received was one of no concern. No apology. Frankly, I enjoy LJS periodically, I've lived in Greenfield all my life. This is the second time I have had this exact same experience. Now it will be also MY LAST EXPERIENCE with LJS in Greenfield. PITIFUL! DEEFINITELY NOT A...
Read moreWe went up to go into the lobby and there was a poorly written sign on the door saying that lobby will be closed until later. It is currently almost 2:30 and they open at 10:30. The sign stated that the Drive up was open, which I wouldn’t have complained about if they where willing to accommodate why we where going there in the first place. We where going there for their Sunday all you can eat special. Now, I understand how that could be difficult since it is all you can eat, but they could have at least handed us more than couple pieces of fish each and we would have been completely fine. I just feel like if you are going to close the lobby you should be able to accommodate whatever a customer wants through your open drive thru. Espically if you have a special deal for that day only. It’s completely ridiculous. The employee said it was a staffing issue...
