Strike Force Lanes — Local services in Greenfield

This review is going to be a little long, but I felt like it needed said after seeing other similar reviews. I arrived around 1 pm on a Friday with 4 (including myself) bowlers. I told the man at the front desk, who appeared to be in his late 30’s to early 40’s and wore a white shirt with colorful stripes, that we will be playing 8 games in total. I also asked if we can get an end lane since 8 games was going to take a while with 4 people bowling each game and we didn’t want to be in the way of anyone. The man was extremely sarcastic to the point where it was a little rude and started that he was going to set us in the middle even after our request. I shrugged off his lil’ attitude because I just wanted to have a good time. He also kind of snipped that we’ll pay once we’re done bowling because I’m assuming he didn’t want to fool with us at the moment. The same worker approached us during our 5th game and asked how many games we intended to play after we finished our current game. He was still rude with us and he said that if we continued to play then he would have to have us move due to a fundraiser coming in. Now, why would you get rude with paying customers about us being there when we specifically asked for an end lane OUT of the way so we could play 8 games? This man knew that there was going to be a fundraiser that night along with us playing 8 games with 4 people, so... hello? Why place us smack dab in the middle when there was going to be almost a full house? We got so angry with this man that we decided to just leave once we finished our 5th game. He was nothing but rude to us since we had arrived. He also continuously gave us rude looks while we played, and that alone made us very uncomfortable and feel like we were an inconvenience. The other staff members are SUPER friendly, the joint is clean with rather decent food, and their prices are reasonable. I still recommend going here, but this lad is AWFUL and needs to reconsider working with people if he isn’t very friendly. It is a family place after all... I’ll definitely bowl someplace else if I see that he is working next...

Let me preface this by saying I never leave reviews, even in bad situations but I felt compelled to do so after our experience. My son had a birthday party here. Every single staff member we encountered were rude and not helpful. This is from the phone call to the bowling alley to try and book a party. I was told to call back a different day because they were busy. I did this & booked but was not given any details about pricing of the pizza, drinks etc for the party or that we had to provide our own utensils. Showed up the day of in a very long line and they were disorganized and didn't know which lanes we were going to use. Finally got lanes to bowl and the party before us were still in the room after their time was up. When our pizza was ready they finally kicked them out (45 min later) and I could set up. There was no cleaning up after the party before us. We went to ask for forks and they were extremely rude saying they cannot provide us with forks and we should have been told this so we ran to the gas station during it since we were not told. Checking out to pay and no receipt was given to me so I can only assume it was $94 for 3 Lg pizzas & 1 pitcher sprite which would be outrageous. I tried to make sure we were only paying for the 3 we needed that day and not 4 that we originally thought and was blown off. My husband and i took took our three kids here. Upon paying we were told that the lane we were being put on was booked at 6:30 for a party and we would have to move lanes at that time of we werent done.. It was only 4:45 and we only wanted to play 2 games so us and the cashier didnt think there would be an issue with overlap. However for some reason at 6:15 the cashier came over and told us to move. We were on frame 7 of our second game and when we stated that we were almost done the staff member very rudely insisted we move. A women from the scheduled party even said they were early and didnt mind at all. We were moved to a lane that had a family of 7 with no room for us. So we packed up and left without playing our last 3 frames. We will not be going back. When checking out my husband expressed our frustration for the situation especially since it could have all been avoided since we would have been done before the party.
