Cornerstone Marble & Granite — Local services in Greenfield

I was excited because my husband and I put aside some money for new granite counter tops and back splash in our kitchen. We were on a budget so I did my research and cost comparison. I was shocked by how much Lowes & Home Depo charge extra for every little thing. It really added up throwing me over budget. I have passed a shop on US 40 in Greenfield many times and admired all of the beautiful slabs of stone they have out front but never stopped by. My husband noticed a billboard on I70 that said Granite Twins. He suggested we check them out. I was expecting them to be the most expensive because they specialize in granite. My husband and I stopped in on a Friday afternoon and were greeted so nicely. I found the granite we have both loved every time we look (Black Galaxy), We had our measurments with us and asked for an estimate. To our surprise everything is included in the price. We did not have to pay extra for removal, disposal, under mount sink, and we had our choice of edges for no additional charge, which other venders charged extra. They gave us a great estimate which allowed me to get granite for my master bath and 1/2 bath as well. I was having trouble choosing a back splash for the kitchen and Angel went above and beyond her job to help me. I was so impressed. Everything looks great. After our countertops were installed, I noticed the overhang was inconsistent...3/4 of an inch in some places and less than a quarter of an inch in other places. When the owner was notified I wasn't completely satisfied, he called me and expressed that he wanted to come see it. He never did. Also, a part of our wall was damaged during the install. It would have been nice if they told us about it, but they didn't we saw it after they left.

The first part of this review (above) was right after the countertops were installed in August (2017). It is now December and I have changed my original 3 star review to 2 stars. The countertops are as okay as they originally were. The issue is the customer service aspect of this company.

I was contacted by them a week ago (late November). They were fairly aggressive about seeing what went wrong 4 months ago. When the owner came out to see, he "had no idea how the overhang was so inconsistent". I almost felt like he was accusing me of moving the cabinets after they were measured, but before the countertops were installed.

Long story short...I have no idea why this company waited 4 months to address this. They claimed we had scheduled a meeting in August that I didn't show up to. That is not true. I’d like to do a big shout to Cornerstone Countertops’s they are thee best in my opinion! Angel was wonderful as I changed my mind at the last minute. I felt bad she told me I just want you to be happy and I want you to have a beautiful kitchen. I do have a beautiful kitchen! Now the men who installed my countertops were amazing! They new what they were doing. Had it down to a science! The best place all around customer service top notch and best of all fair prices beautiful products satisfaction guaranteed! They are on 40 in Greenfied go see them you won’t be disappointed like so many other big box stores.They tell you a day and time and it happens! Thank you Angel your parents...
