I have been on a serious prowl to find the best coffee in Greensboro. Over the past several years I've tried about 75% of all coffee served in our city. As it stands right now, Brewed & Bottled is absolutely my top pick, and I'm not saying this lightly.
I was a little bit late to the party. When B&B first opened, they had some very strange hours. After being greeted by a closed door a couple of times, I just stopped trying. About a year went by, and I would just keep driving when doing my daily run along Lawndale. It wasn't until about three weeks ago that I decided to stop there again.
The very first sip of the drink I ordered filled me with equal measures of awe and regret.
AWE - because this cup was perfect. This is exactly the oustandingly mellow yet complex, tender yet potent brew I've been missing and craving ever since moving to the US and robbing my European taste buds of the quality they'd been used to.
REGRET - because I instantly recognized the harsh reality that I've wasted an entire year drinking subpar coffee elsewhere!
Having come back here for my fix a dozen times since, and having brought friends and family to share this hidden gem with, I have also noticed the incredible consistency across the three baristas I've encountered so far. Whether I see the young gentleman or either of the two young ladies behind the counter, one of which is but a beginner in the art of coffee making - my cup is always identical to the previous. I know how much care and effort it takes to have consistency across all of your staff. Kudos to the owner! We notice! We are grateful!
While my regular cup is an espresso based drink, I do venture out occasionally, and that's where my experience with B&B's cold brew comes in. I have no idea where they get their cold brew from, but it's a wonderful, addictive concotion with a surprising, subtle yet definitive chocolate flavor. Just like their espresso, I rate it BEST IN THE CITY.
I'll conclude my glowing review with a mention of possible areas of improvement. This is done in hopes management will notice and should in no way dissuade you from giving this joint a try. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! Give your poor taste buds a break from low quality, burned, flat taste profile stuff Greensboro insists should be called coffee, and come try the real deal!
Please for all that's holy replace your cold drink lids. The ones you're using right now are terribly flimsy, fiddly, and are prone to making a mess any time you try to insert a straw through them. These lids are very annoying and are a dark spot in an otherwise stellar experience. Also, the counter needs a tiny trash receptacle to receive straw wraps. I'm always at a loss where to deposit the straw wrappers.
Please increase your selection of sugar free syrups and consider using allulose instead of stevia. A lot of your customer base comes from the gym next door, and a lot of them follow keto or other form of low carb lifestyles religiously. We are very grateful for the existing options, but we would definitely appreciate even more choice than vanilla and hazelnut. Win us dieters over with the largest selection of sugar free syrups - we are a very loyal bunch and we are worth the investment.
Is there anything that can be done about overly filled parking lot? Perhaps discussing a couple of dedicated spots, just for your customers? I'm unsure why this parking lot is perpetually full at most times of the day - is it possible some local folks use this lot for "storing" their vehicles as opposed to parking for business?
Post an explanation of your loyalty reward program on your website. I was prompted to join, and yet I have no idea how it works and whether it delivers real value. If I were to make you guys my everyday staple, I absolutely would appreciate being rewarded for it, but I'm not finding any info on what your program offers.
PLEASE give us a mobile order app. 🙏

Read moreAfter lookingup reviews online I thought I'd give it a try. I really want to love it because the staff was very friendly and it was close to my home but honestly, as a fussy coffee drinker, this one is a pass for me.
We order special fall menu. Can't remember the name but it was something brown butter and the other one was something caramel.
The brown butter one was mainly sweet with no coffee taste to it at all. It was sweeter than the one with caramel which puzzled me a lot. The brown butter syrup or whatever they use had some weird smell to it so when it's mixed with coffee it gave the odd smell in the drink. I didn't finish my whole drink.
The caramel one was alright but then again there was no coffee taste in it.

Read moreCame with my son to try this coffee and tea shop close to the Science Center. I ordered the Lavender Daze but added white chocolate and my son got a frozen hot chocolate. I had many lavender beverages since spring at other coffee shops and this one was the best yet! The white chocolate brings out the flavor from n some way because I ordered the same again another day but without the white chocolate and the lavender did not come through as much. I will definitely go back. My son said “Oh this is actually pretty good!”. Which means he loved it because he usually only gives a “Good.”-comment. We recommend this coffee shop! I don’t have photos as I was distracted playing a game with my boy....
