Petra Hookah Lounge — Restaurant in Greensboro

This was my first visit to Petra and will not be my last. Before coming, I had visited another local hookah lounge, and without naming names, let's just say I was "royally" disappointed. Then, I walk into Petra and am immediately greeted by their awesome waitstaff. We were taken to a nice corner and given menus and had everything explained to us, along with recommendations. The waitstaff constantly checked on us and we're friendly in a genuine way.

One of my favorite parts was the drink selection. The smoothies are outstanding and I recomend the strawberry banana. If you order beer though, be prepared to pay cash only.

This place is worth every penny. We had a chill night and enjoyed the experience. I cannot wait to go back. I decided to write this review after the owner came out and personally thanked us for visiting as we were paying and getting ready to leave. This place is amazing so go....

Worst hookah place I’ve ever been to. They reuse the hookah without cleaning it, so it’s unsanitary. The flavoring is a cheap, no brand flavor. You’re charged $20 at the door and if you don’t like the hookah, they don’t care and will tell you to deal with it. When I asked for the manager, he wasn’t there so his employee had to call. They had a call in the back and not in front of the customer so they can only tell you that it’s impossible to refund. I had to ask the employee to call again so I can talk the manager on the phone and he was demeaning, rude, and fighting just to refund the cost of his nasty hookah. You’re wasting your money, time (we were the only ones there and waited 1 hr 15 mins) and you're not having what a hookah should taste like since they are ripping you off for a disgustingly, cheaply made hookah. Go somewhere else and at least you’ll be a valued...

Went last night and will never go again!! The owner was extremely rude and tried to force us to spend $5 on menu items when nothing in the menu is $5. The $5 minimum that he mentioned was not posted nor were we told this when we came in. The waitress said that a purchase of ‘something’ would be required of all of us.

I was in town visiting family and two out of the four of us wanted to smoke. Guess the other two should have stayed in the car because this place is not hospitable at all.

Edit to add: I can’t reply to your reply so I’ll do it here. There were only four of us and we made it very clear from the beginning that only two of us would be smoking.
