Drive Thru Experience: I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the customer service and technical skills exhibited by your drive thru employee at this local Wendy's restaurant. As a regular customer, I expect a certain level of professionalism and competence when interacting with your staff, but unfortunately, this has not been the case lately. I have experienced a lack of friendliness, courtesy, and attentiveness from this young lady. She seem uninterested and unwilling to assist with their queries or provide timely and accurate information. Secondly, the technical skills of the Wendy's employees have been noticeably lacking. It is disheartening to observe them struggling with basic tasks such as processing orders efficiently, using the cash register, or handling payment transactions. It often leads to queue congestion, prolonged waiting times, and incorrect billing. Considering Wendy's status as a renowned fast-food chain, I believe it is essential for your employees to be adequately trained and skilled in performing these essential tasks. But ever since Dave Thomas passed away I have seen a steady decline in the food quality and building cleanliness and overall maintenance. In the years since Dave passed the quality of beef has steadily declined, the burgers are no longer way better than McDonalds or Burger King, and let’s talk about the Frosties! Who’s idea was it to change the temperature of the frosties? I mean I get that it takes more electricity to get them colder, and that hurts profits, but frosties use to be great, near ice cream quality texture, and you didn’t have to worry about eating your frostie first so it wasn’t a liquid mess when you were ready to eat it. Read moreLast night (2/3/25)The food was decent, however; the older woman who took my order at the window was extremely rude. She started off loud and unwelcoming, but I placed a mobile order which was paid for so I didn’t want to just leave. I was very nice to her despite her attitude. I sat at the window for about 5 minutes before she rudely told me to park bc I ordered a family chicken nugget pack online, so it was going to take a while. Every time I go there they are incredibly rude for no reason at all. Half of the time it’s a bunch of teenage boys who have no respect for their customers, this is the first time I have encountered this lady. I often come through for DoorDash orders as well, and they do not treat DoorDash folks well. They get snarky and take forever to give you the order.
