Beijing Egg Roll Express — Restaurant in Greenville

The food here is horrible..trust me. My wife and I visited this place while on vacation after reading the reviews. In spite of the place not looking up to part or so clean we still decided to eat here. ( Because of the reviews) We ordered chicken wings, egg rolls, chicken & brocolli along with pork fried rice. I watched the cashier get the chicken wings out of the cooler where the sodas were. I askeded her ma'am are those wings already cooked? She said no with an attitude but I was definitely looking at fried cooked wings. When we finally received our order we were right. The chicken wings were old we could taste the old taste after they had been cooked and then sat in a refrigerator. The shredded chicken in the brocolli was old and tough and the egg rolls had little chunks of pink meat in it. I guess this was the pork. But, we did not drink our sweet tea after discovering they use ice trays ( the ones you use at home) and put it in our cups. Please run and do not believe the reviews..trust me and my wife is a food critic and begged us not to eat here..I should...

Surprisingly good strip-mall take-out Chinese food. Ordered seafood delight. Had several HUGE shrimp, crawfish tails, scallops, crabmeat, and veggies. The rice was fine, nothing special but decently cooked. Big portions and reasonable prices.

Updated to add: Bill came to $13 and change. I put it on my debit card and added a small tip to make it an even $15. (If it were dine-in, with wait staff, the tip would have been bigger because I believe in tipping wait staff well.) When I checked my online banking, I found they had charged me an extra 61 cents. Such a shame. There were two other Asian restaurants in the same strip mall. Next time I'm in Greenville and jonesing for some strip-mall Asian food, I'll try one of the others, since Egg Roll Express apparently likes to steal change...

Worst experience today at this restaurant. I ordered a large shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp. The packaging was done incorrectly and the rice was yellow. I have never seen fried rice yellow and if I purchase a large box of rice it is normally in the large box. I brought the rice home to my Mom as it is her favorite. This is the restaurant she gets her food from and she looked at it and advised I must have gone to the wrong place because she has never had yellow rice with the food she normally gets. She Tasted the rice and in addition to the yellow it was half done. Well I called and to no avail did I get any satisfaction so for those of you visiting here and want Chinese food this is absolutely the wrong place to go. Customer service...
