El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Greenville

Placed an order for the t bone steak and been sitting here patiently waiting for my food to come. And it’s been 40 minutes since I been sitting here and finally a man comes to ask me if I have been waited on and I said yes and been waiting for my food. Asked me what I ordered so I reply a tbone and he said let him check since they been haven’t steak problems. 2 minutes later another girl comes to ask me if everything was ok. I said guess so with what’s in front of me. But still havent gotten my food so she asked what I order and I stated a tbone. So she said let her check and came back to tell me they ran out of tbone and would I like to see the menu to order something else. I said tf I been sitting here for nearly 50 minites and no one has the audacity to let me know that 40 minutes ago? Just ruin my mood and appetite. Now they just bought out another cut of meat which surely isn’t a tbone and want me to eat it like it’s cool that they had me sitting here waiting for something they didn’t even have! First and...

Prices are ok But food not so much! They give you tortillas warmed in a microwave and they break when you hold them because they are raw. I order a steak on chipotle sauce ( carne asada Diablo) which they pour on top after steak was cooked. It was a lot more of fat on the sides that is no need to add to plate. Waitress was a white young lady VERY VERY nice and polite she was fast and serve us excellent. She brought more salsa and chips without asking at all. I order a Pacifico beer that was cold but lime was yellow with brown old basically trash. The quesadilla rellena was fine. Place need to update seats that are broken and hard. Front door is stupid they have a huge sign that says no public restrooms, you even feel like which is the right entrance????? Glass on that door...

UPDATE 3-21-21 Ask for a Texas margarita. You will NOT be disappointed. Still the best Mexican food in Greenville MS. The Carnitas are absolutely delicious and tender. My absolute favorite.

Tried this place out last night. Friendly service, nice clean and open restaurant. Tables are huge! We ordered fajitas for two that had amazing flavor. We each got a plate of sides and tortillas. Plenty of food! We took home leftovers. We each got delicious margarita. And shared a "small" cheese dip that wasn't so small. We will be returning....
