Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Greenville

We ordered chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, curly fries and shoe string fries as our main meal. The chicken tenders were super crunchy and tasted really good. The cheeseburger was very delectable, not dry but juicy. It was a good size, not too small and not too big. The curly fries and shoe-string fries were crunchy and had good amounts of salt on them. For icecreams, we got a peppermint icecream, Muddy Boots, German Chocolate Cake, and an ice cream sundae. I personally recommend getting the German Chocolate Cake, it was sweet and had a bit of crunch to it as well. We originally overlooked it as a food place but it was definitely worth it. The dairy bar is absolutely delicious, can’t recommend it enough. Their portion sizes are generous and the flavors of their ice creams are amazing. My sister got a peanut butter delight and I ate a ton of it, it was delicious! I love how generous they are with toppings. We came back the next day and got it again - it was made a little differently that time but still amazing.

A staple of Greenville and our go-to for many years has dropped the ball this past visit. What they gained in delicious burgers and lobster rolls have cast a shadow on their former front runner, Ice cream. Ingredients fell flat and seemed lack luster. Sprinkles were waxy and you were left searching for flavor in the soft serve. Hard ice cream was delicious and seems to be what’s keeping this establishment running.
