I ordered two iced lattes and both were completely burnt—bitter, harsh, and clearly over-extracted. The espresso overpowered the drink and left a lingering, unpleasant aftertaste. I was hoping for something smooth and refreshing to fuel my 4-hour drive back to Massachusetts, but these were barely drinkable.

Even more frustrating, the total came to $18 for two iced lattes. When I asked for a refund, the owner offered to remake them instead. As expected, the second round came out exactly the same. When I asked again for a refund, she reluctantly issued it—but not without attitude.

Frankly, the espresso was so poorly made that it felt almost fraudulent to see it featured on the menu. This team clearly needs proper training in how to brew espresso, because nothing about this experience reflected quality or care. Honestly, I would’ve preferred a watered-down Dunkin’ latte for $3 over this burnt-popcorn-flavored disappointment.

And to top it all off, they were reselling store-bought pastries and passing them off as their own. What the heck? That’s not just misleading—it’s shady.

We are not local folks. We arrived in the area at approximately 9AM on a Saturday morning. This was the only place we noticed open for potential breakfast options. We asked about breakfast sandwiches and were informed , “ what we have is in that case.” We noticed a sign indicating breakfast sandwiches until 1130 AM. We inquired about sandwiches on English muffins or additional sandwiches and were bluntly informed, “ what we have are in the case and on bagels”. We then realized that there were not going to be anything more made available except what was in the “case”. We purchased two ham, egg,& cheese plus one sausage, egg, and cheese along with beverages. The “ham” was absent from both sandwiches and the sausage only covered a portion of the sandwich. We were thoroughly disappointed with the attitude of the staff and the way the sandwiches were made. We did not return as we were not impressed with the attitude of staff initially and were already enroute to our destination. Might be a favorite spot for the locals however; we will seek alternative shops should we happen to be in...

BEWARE Food Contamination. My 6-year-old child has a life threatening allergy and the store owner purchases waffles individually wrapped that she could safely serve my child. But she refused and said she would only serve from the pile of unwrapped pastries that were sitting on the counter and I would have to deal with any cross contamination. I even held one of the wrapped waffles in my had to check the label for peanuts. But she wouldn’t sell it to me. This is a safety and food contamination issue that had a clear and easy solution - for a child. The lady was hostile and rude to me and my child. I never want my child to feel descrimination because of their food allergy. Not every restaurant can accommodate us. But most people are usually kind about it and make an effort if possible.
