It's apparently all family working here. The manager (mom) met us at the broken front door to tell us they were out of quarters (initial thought was she was talking about money), third's, half's, and chicken strips. She said they only had breaded chicken and hot ham and cheese. We said perfect that we were here for hot ham and cheese. One of the workers said "Mom, I'm going to clock out. " Another worker started to take our order. She said "Mom, I need your code." She said $5.00 meal deal is ringing up as $6.00 and wanted to know if that was ok. We struggled understanding what she was telling us on most things. Diet Dr. Pepper was flat, Barq's Root Beer was carbonated water. Ketchup pump didn't work...had to put ketchup packets in cup to dip cold, chewy fries. 1 table for 2 was the only clean table in the place. We were the on 2 guests in the restaurant. 1 High chair for high table was broken. 1 table top broken. The floor was wet. We waited 10 minutes for food....which is ok. French fries were chewy and cold...which is not ok since we waited for them. Regular hot ham was disappointing. Looked like it was just slapped together. Another couple came in and the daughter tried to explain what her mom did to us about the food shortage; however, she doesn't talk clear. Even if you ask what and she repeats it, you may not understand her. I was so looking forward to a hot ham and cheese like Hardee's had back in the day and the experience today just ruined that childhood memory. It has been replaced with today's memory. Can't see this place open very...
Read moreI don’t make it over to Greenville as often as some others (Piqua is now the nearest store) but every time I do have a reason to go to Greenville (usually for the fair), I am sure to hit their Hardee’s. I am always confused by reviews on here of people having bad experiences at Hardee’s, because I keep having positive ones (outside of the rare times when certain stores have closed early because employees called off unexpectedly). It’s a major reason why I am so loyal to the brand and continue to eat at Hardee’s whenever I can.
My latest visit to the Greenville store was very pleasant. I had very hot Big Hot Ham ‘N’ Cheese sandwiches (where the cheese was literally oozing out onto the wrapper between bites) and the fries were as fresh as you can get! The cashier was also very polite and even came out to ask me if my food was good while I was eating (it was!).
It took about 6 minutes to receive my food after ordering, which is well within a reasonable time to get my food as hot and fresh as it was. I don’t usually go through the drive-thru, so perhaps that is where people are having the negative experiences? I do understand that many fast food restaurants are struggling with the same shortage of dependable employees right now and that a little patience and kindness can go a long way! While Hardee’s is not quite as cheap as more common places like McDonald’s or Burger King are, I do feel that the quality of food and pleasant experiences I continuously seem to have is...
Read moreThe re-opening honeymoon phase is over! The wait is back on. We went to the drive thru for supper and sat in the parking lot to eat. Waited at the window 8 minutes after we paid, fries we cold, hamburger patties were luke warm. Tried again this Sunday morning for breakfast. The car at the speaker in front of us got tired of waiting and left. We were about to leave and they finally wanted to take our order. No receipt was given. Lady at the window told my husband after he paid that they were out of blueberry biscuits and wanted to see his receipt. He told her she didn't give him a receipt. Then she ask him if he ordered swiss cheese on his omelet sandwich. Which he did not. After waiting, and waiting finally the bag of food was given. The biscuits and gravy containers had gravy all over the outside, hashrounds were cold and all over the plastic bag like they just dumped them in and threw the container in. They should have kept the people that were working the re-opening phase. Hardees will not last...
