I rate with 2 stars, not because of the food, but because of the staff. The food is always fresh, always good, but it seems every time I go that someone working there is having a bad day or something. I'm not a person that has special requests or that makes the staff bend over backwards. I rarely to never add extras. After having an experience the past several times I've been, I feel I can honestly rate with 2 stars. I went in yesterday with a family member. We both got up to the line and starting ordering. I noticed that on Fridays, they have a FB special. So I simply asked, what's the FB special, hoping to get an idea of how to even pull it up. I fully understand the purpose of it is to show the cashier so I can get the deal. I'm not trying to get special treatment. Well she rather rudely and shortly tells me shes not telling me and I have to pull it up. No friendly words telling me I can type in Hot Heads, or if they have a special FB page for their location, but a blunt "tough luck ". The other girl who built my burrito was kind and helpful. By the time I was at the register, I figured out where the special was and used it. I thought it was just me, but when I mentioned it to my family member she 100% agreed that the girl was unnecessarily rude. I've worked in Customer Service for years so I am sensitive to the treatment people get in the industry so I rarely complain or say anything, but I'm pretty sure shes been rude to me before. Another girl (might have been a manager) helped my family member and she smiled/was really friendly with her. Read moreSo Tuesday December 8, 2020, we decided on HotHead for dinner. When it was our turn to order, we stated that we wanted 2 bowls, both with spicy steak, and the girl doing our bowls, was so interested in what the other 2 coworkers was saying kept, saying ok, then turning to them to keep on her conversation with them, she was very skimpy on everything, non of the workers working in there at that time were attentive to the customers, and we ended up with barely any toppings that we asked for, and i have no idea what kind of meat got put into our bowls. It wasn't thrown in the spicy sauce, and it definitely wasn't steak, and not even chicken, I dont know what she put into the bowls! By the time we checked out, because of all of the Staffs need to carry conversation rather then take care of the customers, we forgot to order salsa because it was hard to keep their attention for a second. And then to drive home a half hour home and see that there was missing ingredients and some sort of meat that neither one of us recognized, we def won't be visiting this location again. Stay away, they are in chatty friend mode and you probably won't get anything you asked for like what happened to us. I am not a really picky person, I understand it gets busy, people get confused, or just flat out have bad days. But when it is all because the staff only is chatting and making you wait to say what you want on each and every ingredient and having a long conversation in between each ingredient, and then even, get it all wrong, then thats a problem. I was running late so I ended up getting there around 6:19pm and walked in to grab my food that I ordered online, almost an hour ago to noticed it wasn’t ready and the guy told me they haven’t even touched it. I understand places get busy but to have something ordered that ahead of time and it not be ready is frustrating, I had to wait about 10 minutes for my food and the lady walks up to me and hands me the bag of what I assumed was my food but wasn’t. I live 20 minutes away and didn’t check the bag even though I shouldn’t have to, I should of. I wasn’t the only one waiting for online orders to be done.
