Went through drive-thru. Wanted 2 ice cream cones on a warm day. Couldn't really read the flavor choices, but the order taker was not entertaining any questions about flavor. So my husband just said we'll take 2 single scoop ice cream cones; one vanilla and one strawberry. The order taker rudely kept saying what did you say, "what do you want". Finally she gave us a total of $3.35 and for us to pull around. We get to the window and after a bit of confusion the worker looks at us as if "we just landed from outerspace" and asked what did we want (rudely). We again stated our order of a single scoop cone of vanilla and a single scoop cone of strawberry. She says $3.35. We pay by credit card and I start getting a little nervous because she walks away from the register with my card. She comes back ring us up and says pull ahead. Shortly after I notice they bring an order to another car in front of us, then comes out with a bag. Which really gets me worried. She rudely passes the bag in and starts to walk away. And we say m'am we ordered cones. She totally ignores our comment continue to leave and talks back saying we don't have any cones. And we say you could have told us that versus giving it to us in a cup. Just rude! The straw that breaks the camels back is even at that we get no napkins and one spoon. It's behavior like that when the customer has to restrain their actions by not retaliating. I really felt like chalking it all up as $3.35 down the drain, but going back into the store throwing the order back at her and walking out. Do they not realize that this is their job and attitudes like that can reck the reputation for Jack's everywhere! I just don't get it! By the way the ice cream was good, but Jack's will never get another penny from me because of...
Read moreInterviews are not in synced yet new business greenville ms area. About 10 to 13 per shift unless training where they kind of scrabble to know they're place. Four registers in the front. Two for the main food and one for the ice cream and shakes and the other for drive through. About 13 tables in dining area. Two cook lines in the back area. The facility seemed to train immediately the first week along with already fully experienced employers at opening. Definitely doesn't discriminate. Online orders placed are waiting in line just as long as standing customers placing there orders at front. Burger product, to me was ok not enough salt on meat but tastes is fresh. All products are kept at set temperatures. Ice cream places lids on at end of shift and cleaned properly for desired use the next day. Waste is kept in the back next to back door,(fire hazard). Along with trash being kept in the back in left front side building and behind door outside. Fully secured in and out of establishment. Customer service is decent. All seriousness not many smiles what so ever. Time accuracy is not as expected for a new coming establishment. Expect to change in later review. 3 ways in and out and you can sit in the front if you'd like. Overall I give it a low C by itself. How ever comparing it to the stores that came after them like Taco Bell, and Hardy's, I would say it's last...
Read moreI came here shortly after the restaurant opened and had a horrible experience. I hoped a lot of the issues you read about it in all of these reviews would have been resolved since then, but no. My husband recently went to Jack's at noon to get some fried chicken. The employee told him "We don't have any biscuits." My husband said "OK, well I'd like to just get some chicken." She then told him "We can't give you chicken because it comes with biscuits." He asked if they were going to make any more biscuits (remember, it was only noon!) and she said "Nope." He said "So I can't just order chicken?" And she said "Nope" again. He said "Well I guess I'll take my business elsewhere." She said "K, bye!" To the owner, I see you respond to a lot of the complaints on here, but you don't seem to actually be doing anything about it. Every time I drive by during times when the restaurant should be busy, there is no one there aside from MAYBE one car pulled up waiting for their food. You have got to listen to people. If you don't start making some changes, your restaurant will close before long. We CAN have successful restaurants in Greenville. You just have to show you care and not tolerate this rude and lazy behavior from your employees. Would hate to see this new business close so soon, but that's the direction you are headed if you don't make some...
