Papa Manzo's II — Restaurant in Greenville

07/27/18 Motorcycle ride out from Clarksville, TN. Location: 5/5 Right off main street, Lots of parking after 4pm and on weekends. Ambiance: 4/5 Felt more like a countryside restaurant (not diner) than a pizzeria or Italian eatery. Nevertheless, comfortable and pleasant. Value for $$: 4/5 Not great, but not overpriced. Service: 5/5 Excellent, friendly service. Very attentive and engaging, but also gave us plenty of time and space to enjoy our meal. Hygiene: 5/5 Clean. Tables and chairs were clean (though wobbly), restroom clean. Eating utensils and cups, clean. Cuisine: 4/5 Breaded mushrooms and onion rings tasted as if they were straight from Sam's Club frozen food section. 9" pizza was very tasty. The Papa Lotza was very good...try the Papa Lotza! Chef: 5/5 Very friendly...she even came out to check on us and if we were enjoying our meal. She appeared to be very concerned with the quality...

Sat and waited to eat in for 50 minutes this evening, while watching ppl walk in, ORDER, Get there order, and walk out with their order, while we still waited. Seemed like take out orders had priority over dinning in. Owner/mgr offered free pizza when we asked to have it boxed to go because we needed to get home. We litterely waited an hour to get the pizza by the time we left. 30 minute ride home, ate cold pizza. Disappointing end to a beautiful day. We left the cash on table, we didn't want a free pizza, we'd prefered the waitress been less rude and told us the wait time, especially since we ordered the pizza as soon as she came to the table and took our drink order. We'll return, but not anytime soon. Food has always been good. Just bad...

Only bad this is their normally closed on Saturday, except when bands are playing downtown. And then they offer a limited menu. I was their on one of those Saturday nights and ordered the Italian Roast Beef sandwitch(sic). I asked drain the juice so the bread wouldn't get soggy. It came with onions, green peppers and cheese. Swiss I suppose. It was good. They also offered cheese or peppirone(sic) by the slice, or in a 16" size. I looked at their regular menu, and it had a varity of Italian dishes to order.
