Speedy Wok — Restaurant in Greenville

Place has very good food. I was a weekly customer and spent 30-40 EVERY order. The last order I placed was a 40 dollar order, one meal was shrimp and broccoli when I recieved my order there was a total of 2 shrimp in the whole dish. Everyone makes mistakes which is understandable, I called and spoke with the owner. He proceeded to tell me he would give me credit on my next order for the 3 missing shrimp......AFTER explaining that wasn't a reasonable discount he agreed to replace entire order and have it delivered. The order never arrived. I just finished what I had and thought I could just get the credit on the next order I placed since I order here EVERY WEEK. Well when I called to place my next order the OWNER whom I spoke to the first time decided to argue with me because I wanted the EXACT plate which I paid for (which seems right to me) he told me I was "Asking for to much" and now he's just not going to give me any discount. I then asked him to look at my past orders of 40-50 WEEKLY and this is my first complaint EVER and if he thought that was good customer service?! He replied that he did and he was the owner so that's that lol. At this point I wouldn't trust him cooking food for my dog and told him he just lost my business. I'm going to take the measly 15 minute drive to China Wok, who's always had better food in my opinion and give them my business. They just don't deliver to where I moved to. I know this a long review but it upset me that I have been putting money in this man's pockets to only find out how he treats his customers. NEVER again will I order from...

This place was recommended to us by some people, and had really good reviews. We ordered online. I ordered a chicken with broccoli combination plate with white rice (I forgot to get a photo of it alone, somehow, but you can see it in the background of the egg roll picture!) which came with an egg roll. I also got fried pork dumplings and a small BBQ Spare Ribs. I meant to get the boneless ones, but I clicked the wrong thing. The chicken with broccoli was very good, it had a nice dark savory sauce. The egg roll was just okay to me- it did not seem as savory and flavorful as others I have had. The BBQ Spare Ribs were very good. The marinade was nice and had a good balance of sweet and savory on them. The fried pork dumplings were a let down for me, though. I had seen on their Facebook page that they were homemade, but you can tell that these were frozen and/or mass-manufactured. I would return here to try some other menu items, but not get...

I placed an order online for delivery and after placing my order received a phone call asking if I could meet the delivery driver half way. The entire reason I placed a delivery order was because I wanted it DELIVERED! The person on the phone then explained it was a 20 minute drive for them. Not sure what route they are taking but it does NOT take 20 minutes to get from 10th street to the Allen Road area. Also meeting a driver on Evans Street is NOT halfway. If the person on the phone meant around 20 minutes both ways that seems pretty standard for most areas of Greenville. I have had Speedy Wok deliver when I lived off of Arlington maybe a 2 mile shorter drive. Multiple people had taken time to review the menu and make selections all for NOTHING. An absolute waste of time! I went back to their website just to make sure I didn't miss it and just as I thought there is nothing stating that they do not deliver to certain areas...
